Is a small place but food was good the waiter was not to good to me..she got mad cause she did not hear me asking for something..this place is getting worse by months I went there today 2025 New Year’s Day only one table was occupied and I had to wait to get serve the food I ask was cold the refied beers seems like the took it out of a can and served the meat was tasteless and one of the worker in the kitchen to grab a beer to the kitchen I will never go back never the waiter came to give me the check I hat to get up to the register I should go to hacienda better but I was sick I don’t recommend it to anyone

The food here was some of the best Mexican food I have had. They have many authentic dishes and are all cooked to perfection. The staff are all kind and friendly. There is also a supermarket attached with their own bakery as well to get some fresh deserts, bread and tortillas.

Pepes is one of the better mexican restaurants near Ocala, FL. The service is great , I tend to order the steak street tacos and their excellent. Their tamales are a little dry but overall good when fresh . Highly recommend pepes for you mexican food needs.

Zero flavor. I added salt to everything. The salsa, chips, even the meat in my taco was bland. Tacos were extremely skimpy. They try to compensate for that by doubling the tortilla and making each taco 2$… don’t be cheap. You get what you pay for. My waitress was super cool though.

The bakery items are all fresh and home made! We tried 4 kinds and all was very, very good!! The restaurant was ok. Ordered chili relenos,, they were ok, refried rice was ok, enchilada was good to. Service was great and nice atmosphere. Folks are super kind to everyone!! Chips n salsa was very good.

I love this place like going to Mexico not leaving Marion County have so many things to choose from love the bakery specially Christmas time There Mexican food is authentic the brito big enough for 2 people

Food is quite good. Granted you find quite a bit of gristle in their beef. The younger servers are slow to serve you, and over charge you on things like rice and drinks. Like yesterday, they charged $5 for a drink with 1 refill. They forget to bring things to the table like your drinks, silverware or salsa for the food. Food is decent though, except the chips they are burnt/overcooked.
So tonight the tostadas barely had any refried beans and no avocado per the menu.

Was craving tamales, looked up all different types of food trucks in the Ocala area and nobody had tamales found This restaurant drove from Belleview To check it out and was so happy that we did. Everybody was so nice so helpful they had smiles on their faces and amazing attitudes. You could tell they loved their job bought some desserts, some breads, and then went to the restaurant Noticed that tamales are $1.99 each or half a dozen for nine dollars which is unbelievable in price, and that’s for chicken Tamales so I end up ordering half a dozen. They are so good I will be definitely coming back. Don’t care if I have to drive this way all the time this place is incredible and I want to come back again and try all their foods.

I was craving for tamales for 3 days straight. I'm new to the area and I decided to try this place out for the first time. And they did not disappoint. I ordered the pork tamales and I have to say it was fresh to order and the flavor was on point. I will be getting my tamales from there from now on.

It’s as Mexican as you can get outside of Mexico. I’ve spent a good amount of time in Mexico eating. This is the best I’ve had in the states. The molé had excellent flavor. Went back the next day and had tacos pastore. The best.

Like a Hidden Gem I didn't knew existed. Reminded me of NY when I was in there. Had everything!!!
