The service was excellent however, I am a little disappointed in the new menu. There are no oysters, only a couple fish options, mainly lobster, shrimp, and scallop dishes. I had a steak which was surprisingly good. The up charge for the lobster on the potato was a bit much considering there were only a few tiny pieces of lobster involved. The salmon was properly cooked but a wee over seasoned. They should grab some decorations from some of the other places that they closed and install them here. Not the seafood dining atmosphere I have come to expect after 40+ years of eating at Red Lobster restaurants… Our waiter Jack was top notch, greatly lending to an overall pleasant experience.

After being seated, waited more than 15 mins for our drinks. Waited another 25 mins (40 mins) for 3 of the 4 meals. I was told by manager that it would be longer for my dish because the fish was "still frozen". So I finally received my meal after the other 3 had not only finished their meals, but had boxed up their left overs (1 Hr-15 mins). Manager took 20% of my dish. What a joke! Although my son's dessert was comped for his birthday, our server could have made this horrible experience much better had she kept us updated and at least offered something for me to eat or drink while I waited. She did not! I only got information when I stopped her and asked. When I told her she forgot my vegetable side after my meal finally arrived, she responded with attitude that actually caused my wife to get a little upset (which never happens). So in the end, I boxed up my meal and took it home. I will never come to this establishment again nor any other Red Lobster. Going to Bone Fish, etc. from here out.

Sort of defeats the purpose of these transparent reviews. Instead, how about you put that money in a pot used to better train your managers/servers!

We figured we'd grab dinner before the Saturday rush. 4:15 seated. 5:32 dinner served, missing one side for me, never got the appetizer she ordered. $14 watered down marg for her, no refill on tea for me. I can say, it's just like I remembered it. Go somewhere else with your money, that's my advise. Microwaves + seafood = rubber ocean protein

Long time customers! It's been awhile since we've been in. Service and atmosphere were ok, food kinda sucked. We got our favorites and everything was just bland. Disappointed!

It was Valentine’s Day so of course it was very busy. I made a reservation so it didn’t take but a lot 15 minutes to get seated. Service was a little slow, which was to be expected. It took a good 45 minutes to get our food, but we had biscuits and salad to tie us over. Food was great. Service I think could have been a little better, just because we had to ask for everything, including extra napkins, dressing, drinks, etc, instead of being offered those things.

I got takeout and when my food arrived, it was very cold. I had the lobster and New York strip and my steak was so tough. I had a hard time just cutting it with the steak knife and chewing it. They forgot to put my broccoli on the plate it was very disappointing. it wasn’t worth what I paid for

I have eaten at Red Lobster restaurants before, and always enjoyed it. However, after my experience tonight, I will NEVER go to Red Lobster again. When I arrived at the Ocala Red Lobster I told the gentleman at the front desk I wanted to place an order to go, and was told I would need to place my order at the bar. I went in and sat at the bar, and was pretty much ignored for about 10-15 minutes. No one asked me for my drink order, food order, or anything. I finally was able to get the bartenders attention and was told he didn't take to-go orders, someone else did that. And he was gone. Waited another 20-30 minutes before someone came to take my order. Then I was told to please wait for my order on the other side of the bar. Meanwhile, a couple of ladies came in and sat next to me and were immediately served their drinks, and their food arrived shortly thereafter. So about 30 minutes later my to go order finally arrived. While the server was processing my payment, I checked my bag and discovered only half of what I had ordered. When she brought back the receipt for signature, I explained I only had half my order. She apologized, and told me she would put a rush on the missing dinner. It finally arrived about 20 minutes later. So I head home, unhappy about the lousy customer service, but relieved to finally be headed home with some (I hope) yummy food. Upon opening the two dinners at home, I discovered that my husband's was just as ordered, and we had the order of cheddar biscuits (though no longer warm)---however, when I opened my dinner I was very disappointed to discover a small amount of rice with a couple of shrimp on top, and a skewer of grilled shrimp. I had ordered the garlic shrimp scampi with linguini. The rice and couple of shrimp looked like someone's unfinished meal!! Plus, due to the long wait to complete my order, everything was cold. I will never, ever set foot inside the Ocala Red Lobster again!!
