My disappointing story of the Ocala FL Red Lobster goes like this. I called Red Lobster on April 14th to inquire about the Lobster specials. I was informed Monday's are Lobster and Scampi for $20. and Wednesdays are Lobster and Steak. I informed my friends and we embarked to Red Lobster on Monday, April 15th. After our party of six was seated, we informed our wait person that our order would be easy, we all wanted the Monday Lobster special. She told us that special was discontinued last night. I asked to see the manager who rudely informed us they could not provide it as a special. Lobster and scampi were both still on the menu as separate items. I told her that her staff told me it was still a special for Monday. The manager says whoever answered the phone made a mistake and they were not going to honor a special that was changed yesterday. It is now available on Thursdays.Changing a menu in the middle of the month, first if all is ludicrous, and secondly when you have a party of six, as a manager the special should still be honored. She was non-caring, rude and also threw in if we ordered the Lobster and scampi tonight, that she was not going to ring it up as a special. If we wanted it, we would have to order it separately. Ordering separately would drive the cost from $20.00 to $40.00 per person. Due to everyone was hungry, and it was getting late, everyone ordered a meal. We were all very disappointed in the manager, her attitude and treatment of us. This is Florida, there are many competing seafood restaurants in the area that I'm sure would have honored our request, just to have us as return customers. This Red Lobster on 200 in Ocala FL, treats its customers horribly, it is a disappointment and does not deserve our return. If it were only me involved, I would give this location a rating of 1. However, the waitress was nice so I rate it a 3.

We were here a year or so ago and had a great dining experience with several types of fresh fish to choose from, so decided to return. We were disappointed. Almost everything was unhealthy - either fried or dripping in butter and/or cheese. We each ordered mahi with a plain baked potato with just onions and broccoli. The mahi seemed to be frozen as did the broccoli which was overcooked. The potato had salt which we didn't want. We won't be back.

We came to Red Lobster for Live Maine Lobster. Had to settle for pre frozen tails. It's very disappointing since Lobster is in the name ? And this was a birthday wish on birthday. Waitress was lovely.

We just ordered take out, I ordered the shrimp and scallops skewers with baked potatoe, rice and broccoli...to my disappointment when we got home I discovered I received instead a double portion of rice, the shrimp and scallops and french fries, not at all what they had advertised in the picture online. This was very misleading and disappointing to me as Red Lobster used to be my favorite restaurant. I feel cheated and lied to!! I was really looking forward to my broccoli and baked potato and for the price cheap French fries on the side is not worth it! Also my boyfriend was upset with his meal too, he ordered the fish and chips and the breading was wet and fell apart on the bottom. I'm sad how down hill Red Lobster has gone. I don't like writing bad reviews but this was unacceptable. I probably won't be back after this.
