I’ve eaten at Red Crab before and used to enjoy it, but this last visit was a total letdown. The lobster and shrimp were both extremely overcooked—rubbery and dry. The lobster tail had barely any meat in it, like it had been sitting out or cooked down to nothing. The sauce, which is usually the saving grace, tasted completely different and honestly not good. It felt like a new cook or owner took over and just doesn’t know what they’re doing. For the price, I expected way better. Definitely not coming back unless things change.

I ordered. , “ buffalo wings “ , and that’s what I expected! I like my wings very wet but for some reason these places be so dam stingy with sauce!!! I spent near $100 with this place 😡😡😡 If I wanted wings with a little hot sauce on them , then I could’ve done that myself!!!

I must say they fried shrimp was excellent I ate all the tail shell lol then the boil that I got the all in one sauce was licking ?❤️I even carried it home after eating everything out the bag.

Extremely loud overhead music. Couldn't hear each other talk at the table. Waiter had a hard time hearing us and messed up our order. Not as much his fault as the blaring music which he seemed to not be able to turn down.

Food is great, wait staff is great, management not so much. We purchased a discount card for a school fundraiser. Restaurant refused to honor it even though this is something they have to opt in to. It has their address on it and everything. This is a petty complaint but it is the principle of the matter. We’re only talking about like $12 and they wouldn’t honor it. So be aware.

This is the first review I have given in Many years. Red Crab Ocala. Go into restaurant and place order with hostess who was very sweet and accommodating but having a difficult time placing my 2 (two) orders which came to $77 . Arriving home and opening my order realized there were 3 orders which I had paid for . Which Keep in mind I only ordered 2. Calling them back and telling them I was told to bring the 3rd order back which I told them I lived 20 minutes away. The hostess remembered taking the order and admitting to Her error. Manager insisted I was to return the 3rd order. I reminded her I lived20 minutes.away. Didn’t matter. I replied your error so if you want it back you send someone to get it. Manager then spoke to owner and he insisted needed to be returned. My response was what are you planning to do with it , no answer to that. Suggested if I wanted credit back I could put it in my freezer and when I was on that side of town bring it back. No way to run a business ESPECIALLY when you admitted you made the error . Food is good but no way to treat a repeat customer. What would you do?

My family come here anytime but today we’re come eat for dinner, every food it’s good but the waitress is not good service customer. We talked my country language with my family so she ( waitress)told me don’t say language just only English I just know English. How you feel when someone told that, although we did not talk for her ???? We have 3 adults and 2 kids ( 10 & 7 years old)and 1 baby ( 2 year and half ) baby not eat but they charge 18% tip servers ( 6 people and up). I confuse and asked the manager just 5 people why they charge for me tip servers. They said include baby totally 6 people . Omg? I said I come different restaurants they don’t charge tip servers 18% 5 people if I have baby, she ( waitress) answer every restaurant not same and then the manager take out 18% tip servers . She told me take off tip servers but not said sorry or apologize for mistake. I felt bad for customer service. Terrible!!!!
