This place is awesome.. I have seen reviews that were less then 5 stars and I cant believe them . This is an upscale ie expensive restaurant it's not for everyone but if you enjoy fine dining, Ocala sorely needed this place. Food and Service were 5 stars. If you meet the owner she is awesome, she sold her house to open this place and had done an amazing job. For the nay Sayers who don't enjoy fine dining or they are just crabby go to Outback . The rest of us will enjoy a great experience at Remingtons..

Wow what a great steak house and excellent service! We started with lobster bites appetizers. I had the bone in filet and my wife had a petite fillet, both were cooked to perfection. The sides were à la cart, we tried to spinach and mushrooms mix and lyonnaise potatoes which were both perfectly cooked. For desert we tried peanut butter and fudge tart. Excellent! Great wine! We will be back!

Remingtons is a great new restaurant. They opened at the prime of Ocala's busy season and dealt with the inevitable demand surprisingly well. I'm a vegetarian and there were many things I really enjoyed here. Bread- fresh daily; Caesar salad- interesting with the addition of grapes, but nevertheless enjoyable; goat cheese bruschetta- my favorite thing on the menu thus far! Excellent flavor and a good sweet & savory dish; cauliflower au gratin- good but could be cheesier and lacked seasoning; asparagus- typical steakhouse asparagus, nothing to write home about; mushroom risotto- they rave about the risotto being a specialty but I found it to be average. My parents love the bison burger and my friends have raved about the steaks. Their drink are great and reasonably priced. I particularly enjoy dining at the bar. Great Negronis and shout out to Brant! The restaurant is dark in atmosphere, typical for a steakhouse but they took it to an extreme that I don't really prefer. The service has been average a couple of times and fabulous when we had Jay! He's a phenomenal waiter! The only thing that really stands out as a con to me is their contempt towards adapting to customers needs. We were met with hostile remarks upon requesting basic ingredients like salt, pepper and olive oil. Hopefully they can handle small requests like this with more patience moving forward. Although there have been complaints regarding pricing here, I believe you truly get what you pay for and Remingtons is no exception. Be prepared to pay big city prices for high quality food here.

If you're looking for an upscale dining experience, this is a great one. Situated in a small shopping center just off Hwy 40 in Ocala. Prices reflect the quality of the food and its fabulous preparation. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Ambiance is pleasant but can be loud when crowded at the bar. Very nice drink menu with some great selections reasonably priced. Menu is a la cart with larger than average servings that are shareable. My wife and I shared the filet mignon, crab cakes, hearts of palm salad, mashed potatoes with black garlic, sautéed spinach and mushrooms, fresh baked rolls and some wonderful wine. It was all top notch. I enthusiastically recommend making reservations and trying it for yourself.

We had special friends in town from Miami and they were impressed with the amazing food we allOrdered. Everything came out to perfection. Three of the men ordered the Wagu Special Ribeye and loved it nothing left of it! Thank you to Cyndy and Tammy for making sure we were able to get a table as they were sold out again. Service was great as well as cocktails. Such a beautiful addition to Ocala/Marion Co. Thanks Chef Randall White!
Remingtons is an experience, and a meal that should be enjoyed by all! The service is some of the best I’ve seen and the steaks are just perfect! I have lived in Ocala all my life and Remingtons is the place to be!

Wow! We have been to Remington’s Prime in Ocala a few times and every time we go we have a great time. The service is top notch, the food is always exceeding our expectations and we love the ambiance. Last night we had the steak charcuterie and it was delicious! Several different cuts of meat with an assortment of sides fed 5 people with leftovers! Highly recommend!

Made previous reservations, walked in and was seated with no wait. Place was neat, clean and organized. Service was outstanding. Food was excellent. Seasoned to perfection. A bit pricey but you get what you paid for.
We were very disappointed 4 guests ordered lobsters and they were served raw so we all 4 told them to cook them some more and they came back raw again... this is unacceptable and they will never see us again....

Visiting from NC and it was recommended that we eat here from a couple that we met in Ocala. They mentioned it was fairly new and a great place to eat. They weren't wrong! The place had a nice upscale vibe that you wouldn't expect from the outside. We were greeted by the Director of First Impressions and seated promptly. We chose the bar as we normally do. We were greeted there by Lucy and she was VERY knowledgeable. She gave us some recommendations and we chose to start with the Goat Cheese bruschetta. We were both very impressed!! For our main we decided on the Cowboy Ribeye, Scalloped Potatoes, & Brussels. All done very well. They even let us pick out choice of steak knife. The Ribeye was cooked a perfect medium and seasoned just right. You could still taste the meat and weren't over-powered by seasoning. The Brussels were tender, crisp, and flavorful and the scalloped potatoes had just the right amount of cheese. By far this was my favorite dining experience while visiting Ocala. If you're trying to decide over Remington's or Stirrups at the WEC I HIGHLY recommend you take the extra 7 minute drive to Remington's. You'll be glad you did. Pro Tip: They have an Old Fasioned flight. Get it!!
Definitely caters to WEC crowd and Golden Ocala crowd who probably don't care about $. Regular Ocala horse folks, not so much. Spent about a month's worth of feed $ on one night out here! Whoa! While steak entrees were excellent, appetizer (meatballs) was not and everything is a la carte. The prices are a bit much for the overall quality of the food. Definitely will not be returning as I feel I've eaten better on the square for less. I'll stick with Katya, Le Cuisine and even Black Prong all the way in Bronson. Much better experience with food at aforementioned restaurants.

Let me start by saying the atmosphere and the waiter was exceptional. The drinks were amazing, as were the appetizers. We had several different drinks, including desert drinks, and all were perfect. For appetizers we had the fritters, bruschetta, and the crab cakes. Again all we're fantastic. We ordered different steaks at the table (group of 5). That part I was not impressed by, and most of us weren't. I ordered the Delmonico, medium-rare. And for the price I felt like the steak was flavorless and a bit dry. Others at the table had the same feeling. I did get the black garlic bourbon butter, and that was phenomenal! Absolutely the best part of the steak. After all is said and done, we will go back, but not for steaks. We will go for drinks, appetizers, and maybe try one of the burgers.
