UPDATE: Our most recent visit was a jumbled mess of wrong flavors. Unfortunately, we didn't realize until after we left, and there were a few that ended up getting tossed out. Very expensive mistake they made, and we were to far to go back.Rita's has served a great product for years. I'm glad to finally see one in Ocala. Location is a little tight for busy times, and there is limited space to sit, but staff is very accommodating when possible. Only concern, which is likely because they are learning, is the menu on either side listed incorrect products. Hopefully, they will get the final details worked out. PS, unfortunately, they didn't open at the beginning of summer.

Prices were ok (a little on the pricier side for the size you get). The custard and Italian Ice/Slush is phenomenal tho. The staff is decent not very happy nor do they but they get the job done. I like this place but it’s not something I’d go out of my way for :/

This place serves Italian slushies, not Italian ice. Very disappointing for almost $9 for two smalls. Pirate Ice in Clermont beats out both Rita’s and Jeremiah’s as far as Italian ice goes.

Rita’s is a once a week bike ride stop for my family. We’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Love the mango ice! Insanely good!

$8.12 for a large vanilla with a squirt of Reese’s peanut butter milkshake. Custard vanilla that is. They have Italian icy as well. Pretty quick service but too sugary for my taste buds.

The servers were very friendly and accommodating with our large order! The red, white, and blue 5 layer Gelati was a huge hit! Very patriotic and everyone loved this festive treat! ❤️
