This is and will always be one of my favorite places! The food is so good and the service is great! So many different things to choose from and good prices, you will never leave hungry!!! I've heard it said you can be mad before and after you eat a taco, but never WHILE you're eating a taco. Stop in and see Kim, and you won't be disappointed!

Gooder than a mug
We work next to Say Taco, and eat here a few times a week for lunch.
Their food has always been great. A good range of Tex-Mex with American Comfort. Pricing is also amazing compared to other downtown restaurants.

Have eaten here several times and the food is great! Good staff that is willing to work with you and very polite. The food is a great blend of American taco. Would recommend to try it out!

This is without a doubt the worst Mexican food in all of Ocala. Neither my husband nor I cared to finish our guacamole, queso or tacos. The meat tasted like it came from a can and the beans and rice were flavorless and stale. Please avoid. We have had friends experience the same food and I’m so confused how this restaurants is eating at a 4.3. Enter at your own risk or terrible food
Mango margaritas are the best you'll find anywhere.

Came in to grab dinner. Was told to sit at an uncleared table. Not a big deal. Sat for 15 minutes. Nobody came and said anything. No “hey, we will be right with you”. The people that came in after us got served first. We kept waiting. Were passed by the waitress, still said nothing to us . Still sitting at a table with old dishes in front us. Gave up after 15 minutes of zero interaction and people coming in after us getting served.

HORRIBLE service. WAITED FOREVER FOR BASIC FOOD. Waitress avoided coming to our table and got the order wrong so we had to wait AGAIN for food. She was too interested in serving people at the bar. HORRIBLE. NEVER AGAIN. Too many choices in this area to settle for mediocre everything.

Awesome service and even better food
I’ve never had a bad experience at this place. There’s plenty of parking around the restaurant which is different for downtown always has great food and service. Live music is a plus as well. They have a large outdoor seating area as well as indoor

I was disappointed from the very beginning. I am an avid fan of this restaurant normally and I come here specifically for the street corn fries most of the time. I don’t know what happened with the commercializing of the company, but their menu has lost a lot of of its flare and potency as well as a lot of their seasoning. My fries came out unseasoned and not fresh out of the fryer as they usually are and the Philly cheesesteak I ordered was microwaved to hell and was practically just meat and cheese with no other accompaniments on the sandwich. Something I could’ve made at home for the same price and had much better. I’m very disappointed in the restaurants. “Update” it’s dark and unwelcoming and now they have high top seating, which is very uncomfortable. We just wanted some good tacos and hot food and it was very low quality and without love. I hope the owners and managers can see this message and actually improve upon their situation without taking it out on the employees. Good luck Say taco, I don’t see you profiting much in the future with this current business plan.
I miss what sayulitas used to be. The food is now trash. 🤮 we tried it twice since they got new owners hoping the second time would redeem itself. It did not.
First time in Ocala and after stopping at a previous disappointing restaurant I stumbled upon this amazing hidden gem and boy let me tell you from the food, to the hospitality, the vibe to the ambiance. Victoria greeted us with a welcoming smile and recommendations (by the way, definitely get the 2 tacos for $10 ) you won’t be disappointed! Allen I believe was the manager stopped by to make sure everything was good and continued showing the hospitality I feel this place exemplifies.
Margaritas were great!

Definitely not Sayulitas anymore and very disappointing. The place looked close when we arrived since it was pretty dark inside. We sat down and looked at the menu to realize they no longer had a drink menu and they were now selling wings, burgers and other sandwiches. I would be okay with additional food items being added to the menu if the actual food they're advertising being tacos were good. I ordered 3 tacos and each had their issues between the lettuce being old and brown, the pineapple being unrecognizable because it wasn't yellow or tasting spoiled, and the meat greasy. My husband didn't finish his food because the tacos tasted spoiled with the brown lettucue and his stomach was upset with one taco. I spit out my Al Pastor because the pineapple tasted spoiled and I told the server and didnt seem fazed. Honestly felt like a waste of money and time because the food is nothing like Sayulitas was. Would never recommend or return back.
