This place is awesome!🤩 First time going there 11-22-24. The girls and I decided to have dinner before we went to see WICKED, which, by the way, was AMAZING!!💚🩷I ordered the shrimp tacos with fries and a virgin mango margarita! (had a headache and headaches and alcohol don’t mix with me😑)
The tacos were delicious!!! 😋 LOADED with fried shrimp!!! OMG! Fries were crispy and fresh!! The drink was delicious as well. Our server was the sweetest! Very attentive, pleasant and friendly! She even took a picture with me and took a picture of us✨I can’t remember her name though😩Cassie or Callie maybe. (I’’m sorry girl) Anyway, she’s awesome so ask for her (look at the picture😂) Nice vibe there. I will definitely go back!👍🏽

Parking: The restaurant is in Market Street Plaza Heathbrook so it’s always busy in that plaza. It’s plenty of parking. You just have to be lucky enough to find a spot close to the restaurant.

Service was Quick. Visited a Sunday about 3pm. Ordered 6 raw oysters house special and 6 Blackberry premiamos or prime selection. The house oysters from Virginia were good, however 2 where non existent as when shucked it showed that they where not ready. Kitchen compensated with two additional Blackerry oysters. These premium oyesters where very good. Will come back.

My husband and I were looking for a restaurant that had oysters, we called and Savannah answered the phone, very courteous, she had the patience to answer all of my husbands questions with a very pleasant voice. This is what I call real customer service. We will be visiting tomorrow .
The Olivera’s

The food was great and that’s always what’s most important. The service is very slow and it was not crowded at all. Some of the menu prices are insane ($23 for 8 wings, $80 shrimp steam buckets). Condiments at the table missing the caps and the menus were sticky. The inside is great and does not feel like you are in Ocala. we were a party of 3 and very much enjoyed our food and frankly we will be back, it’s worth another visit.

Thank you Shuckin Shack!! My husband and I had to evacuate from Tampa, MacDill AFB for hurricane milton with our two Labradoodles in tow. On our way back home post Milton , we had to try to find somewhere that we could stop and have some lunch on our way back to Tampa. We saw your establishment boasted it was pet friendly, that’s an understatement! Sevi Not only welcomed us in the outside area but treated our dogs like patrons as well. Some regulars were at the bar outside and they helped give attention to our weary car sick dogs, Charlie and Otto. While Sevi brought out water numerous times for our dogs we enjoyed a great and relaxing lunch! So on the human side… great service, fantastic food, and wonderful atmosphere! Big flavorful portions! My Left Coast Louie salad had tons of shrimp! Yummy! In the mist of all the chaos and craziness we had experienced for the last week, this was a welcome reprieve. We felt like locals and neighbors in your establishment. We thank you so much!! We highly recommend Shuckin Shack! We shouldn’t be surprised in Florida neighbors support neighbors, Florida strong!

Raw oysters were delish. $18 a 1/2 dozen! Crab dip had way too much salt and dressing (unsure if it was mayo)so we could not taste the crab. Steamed shrimp were good. The atmosphere was good then someone cranked the music, then it went back to normal, then cranked again.

Great oysters, although I had a couple that weren't properly cleaned, they were sure to give me some new oysters to replace the dirty ones, the waitress i had was good although she was not as attentive as I would expect, but it's all good! In all the beer was cold and the oysters are fresh as it can get from a restaurant. Great place to visit with a couple friends!

Food in general was excellent, oddly the only thing really lacking were the oysters, they seemed freshly shucked... bonus as most seem to come from a fridge storage previously shucked, but they were fairly dirty, hard to eat without getting shell chunks and kind of lacking in flavor. Enough bitching, the rest if the foid was excellent, the guy running the joint hustled, was friendly, and drove the great atmosphere. 100% we will go back again. Lemon pepper wings were great and the Mahi strips were a winner, and the mussles baller.

We visit the Shuckerxs in Atlanta regularly. They are superior to this location. They have the 7 minute steam down pat for crab legs. Unfortunately I fought with my crab legs way too much. I did try to visit two different days. It seems like they are getting cooked an extra minute or in the window too long. Frustrating when the meat sticks to the shells. Crab legs taste great just need to reduce that cooking time.

Crab dip - not a fan. Not sure what is going on with the Cole slaw?

Shrimp are good. Oysters are great. Boil is great.
