I was in Ocala for two days and decided to check out the cute coffee shop, instead of going to a chain coffee like Starbucks. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! I’m an avid drinker, and lover of strong espresso/coffee, so this place hit the spot! I ordered hot latte with dark chocolate flavor, it was heaven in a cup. And the place is so adorable inside, very artsy and cozy. I highly recommend!

Sips is the hidden gem, mom & pop shop, of Ocala coffee houses - it is a MUST when in Ocala! Undoubtably the BEST VALUE for my dollar, whether on a date or just coming by to work on my laptop with the high speed internet they offer to their customers. I have never had a hazelnut Latte as well made as this. Steamed milk, a double shot of expresso, your choice of flavorings from coconut, hazelnut, dark chocolate, vanilla, and many more options that may seem overwhelming to the untrained coffee specialist, however they walk you through the entire selection to help you reach your purchase decision; for us novices with coffee combination. Sips also serves AMAZING pastries that are made in house by their pastry chef.

Was in a rush to get back to the office and stopped by for a sandwich, ended up getting a smoothie and cupcake also. Everything was amazingly fresh and ready quickly. Hands down the best sandwich I’ve had in a very long time.

I love this place. I went there with my husband on Nov, 23 2019. We were in the area because we were waiting for my car that was in the shop. The first thing that I enjoyed was the setting of the coffe shop, the chairs with little tables, and the sofa. Then the frendly girl who was behine the counter. We had coffe and the best and fresh cup cakes. Never you can compare these cup cakes with the one from walmart :). They were delicious. We relaxed and talk for more than 30 minutes. I felt like home specially when in our way out one of the staff thanked us for stopping by.

Their macaroons are made fresh and by hand in house every day. OMG they are delicious. The one I ate was the pumpkin spice macaroon and it melted in my mouth. They are surprisingly filling and the perfect small dessert to go with a coffee.

Stopped here specifically to try to find some good cupcakes in Ocala. The cupcakes we tried, 3 different kinds, were all dry. It was a big disappointment. I may try again in the future but honestly the cupcakes at Walmart across the street are way better. We did have some smoothies that were good. The atmosphere and decor were great.

The person serving was very friendly. I went out of my way to get here, wanting a decent cup of coffee. They do not brew coffee in the afternoon and the fellow suggested an Americano. It was so bad, because the espresso was really bad, that after paying $4 for it, I drove to the nearest Wawa, tossed the full cup and bought a $2 cup of coffee there. I rarely drink gas station coffee but desperate times call for desperate measures.
