Slice Downtown Ocala - Pizza by the slice

Great for late night cravings, it's much appreciated how late they stay open. Love that I can order by the slice and reasonable prices.

I for one love the pizza, during late night I’ll typically get just a pepperoni pizza through the slice window. But when I sat inside I’ve ordered the Mexican pizza with beef birria. Chefs kiss!!

Found this gem open late with the best Hand tossed NY style pizza! They’re the only place open late with actual good food and the nicest cashier :)

These pizza slices are bigger than your head and the toppings are so good. Everything tastes super fresh and the price is reasonable considering one slice is equivalent to like 3 normal slices! Just what we needed in downtown after a late night out.

If you go when close to their opening time, expect to wait. I would expect this of a regular restaurant but not a walk-up. Also, despite what the window and internet says, don't expect them to be open late. As for the pizza....have you even severally undercooked a freezer burnt Red Barron pizza that you accidentally dropped in a vat of cornmeal? No? Well, you're in luck then because that's what Slice pizza takes off. Do not recommend for any reason.

Can’t rank with no stars! Worst pizza ever, doughy, slices stacked in a plastic container (by the slice no longer available) so bottom slices inedible. It seems like they used American cheese. Don’t waste your money!

I come to the Pizza place here in downtown Ocala called "Slice" and just to fine out they don't sell by the slice. Wow!

Pizza was the worst EVER! Seriously seems like it’s some kind of frozen pizza they heat up and sell you for $6 a slice and the garlic knots are definitely frozen and heated up. Great idea, but horrible food. Don’t waste your time or money.. ??

I was excited to give it a shot because the food culture in Ocala is very lacking, but this really ain’t it. I understand prices are on the rise and that’s besides the point, this pizza is school cafeteria style pizza. Just disgusting. Very poor quality. The idea was cool, but just didn’t deliver with the quality. If they charged 8$ a slice and the quality was there, I’m all for it. But 6$ a slice, and poor quality, it’s not sustainable. No matter how drunk you are.

Nice people, little window pizza shop. Pizza was a little undercooked the dough was very doughy but the pepperoni was really good.
