Love this place. I mainly come here for the salad bar, as this is one of the only restaurants with a salad bar. I have my salad and have my meal boxed togo, for a snack for later.

Service was excellent place very comfortable. The turkey came across as boar heads deli meat and less smoked turkey. My buddy like the baby backs and the pie was good
. Loved the fried okra and potato salad

The sauces are not very well marked because you have to use a color coded "key" that is posted on a frame by the tables. It's just not very vibrant color detailing. I ordered the turkey sandwich on garlic toast. It was more like lunch meat turkey, not smoked turkey breast like I would expect at a BBQ restaurant.

This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised because it equaled all the hype. Fantastic food and great service with fair prices makes SP&C number one in my book.

Parking: We are definitely going again.

The food was not very appetizing when it got home. Ordered broiled shrimp, and it wasn't in my take out order. Whatever coating they use on their fried pickles needs to have some crunch or flavor to it. We ordered side salads (macaroni, Cole slaw, potato). The Cole slaw was ok, the potato salad had no flavor what so ever and the macaroni salad could use some improvement. The side salads we ordered were allegedly large in size. We measured, and it was a half pint or a pint I forget. And it's NOT worth the 6 bucks each expense.

The cornbread loaf was very good. Portions are small. 19 bucks for a catfish filet and 5 fried shrimp.

The brisket (5 slices), small portion of pulled pork (seems like 2 or 3 tablespoons), and a 4 bone spare rib.

I was very disappointed in my 1st and probably last visit. It may be good if.you.go in and sit down and eat it hot. But to me, I spent over 70 dollars with a tip (for a missing item) and cold meal. We tried to eat it up at the house, but the breading on the shrimp and.pickles was coming off. To get a better review, they'll have to give me 2 free dinners to make up for this stuff they sold to me and my wife. Once again, I am very disappointed. And it could use a paint job to brighten up the place. The color they use now is very depressing and dinge looking.

Parking: If you order take out. Take everything out of the bags and check your order. If you don't and have to travel far, and something is missing, you'll be ticked off. A simple thing is to make sure your order is correct. If it's busy, there still is no excuse for it. Food handlers in the kitchen are not wearing hairnet over their beards. A health violation.

Wheelchair accessibility: 1 level and 2 doors to access the dining area.

6.5 out of 10 for brisket. First time here. Texas “feel” inside. Especially nice server. We’re Texans, so it’s tough for us to try bbq outside of state. Cornbread good and not dry. Husband got brisket sandwich on garlic toast and it was good as well. Enjoyed trying their various sauces and surprised we both liked the pulled pork sauce. The hot is not hot at all. Baked potato was ok, but not fresh out of the oven, luke warm and not served with real butter. Would not order again. Overall, we’d go back but try different items.

Went with a group of 7, Salad bar was good. I ordered pulled pork on garlic bread, pretty good. Side of baked beans was beans made in ketchup with hardly a spec of pork. The BBQ sauces I found to be heavy vinegar flavor. 2 guys ordered brisket, which was 5 or 6 thin slices served flat spread over a plate. I'd have been mighty disappointed, they said it was dry. Others had no real opinions.

When we are in Ocala Florida we LOVE dining here! We love that it is locally owned, we also love the fact they are a huge supporter of the 4h and FFA programs! The 4H and FFA programs teach the youth hard work along with so many other great lessons! We always have excellent service here also!
