All I can say is Steak and Shake has really gone downhill. Use to love this place but now it’s more like McDonald’s. Kiosk ordering only. Food was less than good. Milk shakes were below par. Too bad. Was a great place to eat but no longer in my opinion

Steak and shake is a less known chain here down south, however I think it’s one of my new favorite fast food restaurants. It’s amazingly well priced with their burger and fries meals coming less than six dollars without a drink. The atmosphere is great and there are lots of decorations to give it that retro style aesthetic. The kiosk ordering system makes it so that they don’t have to spend time taking your order and can make your food faster. The service is quite fast and the food is absolutely delicious. Everything is a good price and the milkshakes are definitely worth it to try. Ten stars lol.

Order online for delivery, was picked up with their knowledge, but was never delivered. Called the delivery service they have contact with to report and request a refund. Was told since it was placed on stake and shake website, I have to call them for refund. Called the manager was very disrespectful because they was closing. Was also told they have a on going problem of delivery services picking up food and not delivering it. Called today to speak to another manager, same issue of nobody can do nothing about it but they are still allowing the delivery service to pick up and not deliver. I wonder why???? Yall still get a cut and there is no consequences so it continues at the expense of the customers. Worst place to get food from. Worst customer service from management.

Wow. What happened to steak and shake? No servers, drinks locked behind a qr code, this place is a shadow of it's former shelf. Staff (Roxy was awesome) were very nice, but not enough staff to even feel like a real restaurant. Steak and shake is making a huge mistake with this form of 'progress'. Limit on refills, no documentation on how to use the codes to get a drink. A sad experience. Roxy made it at least a professional experience. She was great.

I love Steak and Shake. This restaurant in Silver Springs, Florida, has a great friendly staff. The only issue is they sometimes either run out of shake mix or their machine is down. I'm not quite sure what the issue is, but we didn't get a shake on this trip. Maybe next time. We will keep coming here even if they don't have shakes. Mom loves their burgers.

I don't know if it's the location or something else. This place seemed depressing and outdated. I don't mean the style, but the rusty table legs and the cracks on the seats. Food was ok. They want a tip for you to use a kiosk, scan a QR code each time you fill a drink and pick up your food that you order. Pay your employees!
Burgers were tasty, and made correctly, with fresh lettuce and tomato. Banana shake was the perfect consistency, tasted delicious, in a frosty, shake glass. I would have given 5 stars, but it was our 1st time here & the kiosk didn’t have instructions to scan the receipt for the drink machine. And the outside sign was out and hard to see from the road. Front entrance doors, glass, and walkway, were dirty. The napkins and other supplies were stocked, and the tables were clean. Trash area was also tidy and trash empty (not filled or overflowing like many restaurants)
Parking: Lots of parking on the side and in front of the building.
Kid-friendliness: This would be a fun place for kids to come eat with booth, chair and high chit seats available.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to the door and inside seating can be rearranged.

Horrible restaurant, just ordered and got a large Diet Coke and onion rings, and two sandwiches. Garlic burger didn’t have extra garlic spread, onion rings were not filled to the top, and they did not give me a straw. Honestly if you’re around here you’re better off going to the Walmart deli

The downside was that there was no way to place orders at the front counter. Really! Had to use slow and cumbersome kiosk only to find it was out of order and had to move to another. Come on S & S install a cash register and put an employee on it!!!

Burger was decent, fries were cold, atmosphere was outdated and unkept. Drink machine had mold buildup and service was dry, unwelcoming and inattentive. Not worth the money spent. I doubt I will be back at this location. Not the same place I remember back in the day. So sad.
