Highly recommend!!!! 5 out of 5 stars. I have been going to Taverna Berrocal for years and finally got to try their new location. I always order the same thing. Aji de Gallina and my wife gets Lomo Saltado. The Ahi de Gallina was perfect, actually better than I've ever had it. It had a nice spice which I loved. Normally it doesn't really have spice but they've perfected it. We also had Tiramisu and it was delicious. Jonathan was our waiter and he was great! Looking forward to going back! I even left my credit card and it was there Tuesday.

We ate here with a group of seven and not only did they accommodate our group quickly, which included a toddler, but the service was incredibly friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. We can't wait for the grand opening and will keep referring friends here.

Compliments to the Chef Berrocal! Wow everything tasted incredible. We devoured our Napoleon II, Lomo Saltado, Pescado alo Macho, and Arros verde de Pato. Everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend trying the Finca Rotondo wine, it's the best! Our server/bartender was attentive, nice and friendly. We will be sure to be back again and again! Be sure to make reservations, it's located inside Holiday Inn on the 6th Floor.

We are so grateful for a truly marvelous experience here! Not only was the food exceptional, but we got to meet the chef and learn about his story. There is NOTHING like this restaurant anywhere in North Florida. If you love peruvian food this is the place to go. But there's also a unique Italian flair that adds a couple delicious dishes you wouldn't normally see at a peruvian restaurant.

First time dining here. The food and service was excellent. Our server Jonathan gave some amazing recommendations. Which goes to show that he knows the menu. One of my pet peeves is when I ask my server for recommendations and they tell me. Everything is good. Jonathan took the time to explain the different dishes and I had questions about. He made some great recommendations. My husband and I will be returning. We had Coquilles Saint-Jacques for appetizers. Main course the Churrasco and Napoleon II.

Was staying at holiday inn. Saw this on 6th floor caught me by surprise. Food was great. Grilled beef heart reminded me of my good times in Lima. Also has paella and chicken with rice. They even gave us 2 complimentary pisco sour drinks. 100$ +25$ tip. Bloody great. Bar tender Jonathan was cool.

Went on a Friday evening to experience the Peruvian food in Ocala and this restaurant did not disappoint. Fantastic dishes including duck and skirt steak had wonderful flavors, were prepared artfully, and carried authentic flavors of Peru.

Our server Valeria knows the food and culture well. If you want an authentic experience, come check them out.

Sadly, we had the worst experience at the new location of Taverna Berrocal. My husband and I were there Thursday evening to celebrate a special occasion. There were only a few tables occupied near the bar and the restaurant was basically empty. At first we were completely ignored and then seated ourselves. The waiter finally took our drink order. We had to wait 45 minutes to receive our fried calamari after asking about it a few times. It arrived overcooked. We also asked for a second drink which we never received. The waiter kept apologizing and thanking us for our patience and yet there were hardly any patrons. After an hour, I flagged him down and asked for our check. We left without dinner, stopped at Bonefish Grill and had a delightful meal.

We went on a date night me and my fiancée first of all the food in the pictures does not match any of the food we had, we end up paying $110 for two plates and one appetizer that went straight back to the kitchen without even asking us why we didn’t eat anything. Both waiters were very nice and they apologized to us but they said there is nothing they can do. If you are into Peruvian food do not go there, I don't usually rate restaurants but I was very pissed and disappointed I felt if I burned that $110.
