LOUD! Here for work and pool open until 10pm with lots of screaming children. No respect for other patrons and no attempts to Successfully stop excessive noise. If you stay on the inner part over looking pool all nose echos up th hotel walls. If you stay on outer the highway is very noisy. Go elsewhere if you want a quiet place. Oddly gym is not opened until 7 am for whatever reason. Most other hotels have 24 hour access. Unclear why this hotel limits.

First and foremost, I checked in Friday they ran my card for $190 and I checked in. The blond headed woman who checked me in was just very rude and acted like she hated her job, and we were an inconvenience for her. The following morning before check out time I decided to stay another day. My daughter paid for my second night there and they charged her card $334. Not only had I NOT checked out yet, but housekeeping went into the room and cleaned it and took my phone charger, no one could find it or knew anything about it. The day of check out which was Sunday, check out time was @ 12. I packed myself up put everything in my car but kept my card and put a do not disturb sign on the door due to me being ill, I kept the card just in case I needed to get back in the room in case I got sick before leaving and the rest of the family were in their rooms getting ready to leave. One of my daughters saw housekeeping at the room and asked what she was doing and told housekeeping I hadn't even checked out yet! Glad all my things were in my vehicle already so nothing else disappeared. If check out time is 12:00 why are these housekeepers going into rooms that haven't check out yet and the excuse was " Sometimes people don't bring their keys back." Well regardless check out is 12:00 why are they in a room with a do not disturb sign on the door whether a key is brought back or not?! That is bad business and makes me not want to trust ever going to this Hotel again or even recommending anyone to go there.

The beds were very uncomfortable, the pillows were awful, the room was really small and outdated. The lobby area was updated and the bar area was nice but it is clear the rooms and especially the bathrooms were not updated!

Wonderful staff, Stephanie and Tammy were extremely sweet and so courteous and accommodating, stayed for 2 months, bed was so comfy, and room was so quiet. Highly recommend. Room was clean, and you could ask for anything and it got done.

The hotel room was amazing! I haven't slept this well at a hotel in a long time. The staff at the front desk were very kind on Friday the 17th (the morning I checked out) and the Bistro was amazing. I was greeted by a nice young man who took my order and made my morning coffee. Unfortunately I do not remember his name but he was tall. When I came back to get another coffee around 10:05 he had informed me that the bistro was unfortunately closed but he had some coffee left that he gave to me on the house! Truly a great experience! Marriott does not disappoint. Please let the morning staff know how amazing their service was!

No signal on TV reported 3 times, no one came, didn’t clean our room. I do not recommend this place. It is dirty and unkept on the outside, inside looks good until you look around closely, bathroom dirty and only a few light bulbs worked. I do not recommend this place.

We checked into the Courtyard in Ocala and were immediately greeted by Stephanie, who was personable, efficient, and gave us a great room. We dined in the Bistro and it was a delicious and relaxing meal. Then Shuarma came by with fresh-baked cookies and treated us to some, straight from the oven! Incredible!

Was hesitant to book this hotel because the overall rating was less than 4.0. Not sure why. It was a 5 for my husband and me. The room was clean. The bed was fine. The lobby area nice and inviting. The EXCEPTIONAL feature was the staff. Everyone of them was so nice and super friendly, I smiled and laughed. Great stop for us. Will definitely stay here again.

I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member. We stayed at this hotel about 4/5 years ago and had no issues. In Nov 2022 the lobby/front desk appeared clean and friendly ck in. Unfortunately everything else issues. The We got in late from shopping. TV channels weren’t working had to get assistance. The thermostat in room wasn’t working. the shower was a little dirty. But the worst part was one of the beds had blood stains and yellow stains combined on the bed skirt. I was in shocked! We took pictures and showed the front desk and was so embarrassed that we should have inspected everything upon ck in but we were anxious to get out & tour around. We will not be going back and I do not recommend this place. There was no credit given for the traumatic experience.

The room and windows were incredibly dirty. Spiderwebs in the windows, hadn’t been wiped down in weeks at least. The bed was uncomfortable. Everywhere smelled like weed. The TV didn’t work besides one channel and by the time we realized it, we couldn’t get the front desk on the phone and it wasn’t worth it. Everything felt old and outdated. Complained with no resolution.

Dirty, musty, old and noisy. Lobby is the only thing that resembles a courtyard marriott. Rooms and common areas are motel quality and design. I had to argue with the front desk for a room key because they had low stock. lighting in the parking lot is very low.

This is an older Courtyard but well maintained. It is typical of the older Courtyards in that it is difficult to find your way around the hotel. We ended up walking around the outside to find our way from our corridor to the front to eat. The Bistro is typical of Courtyard food which i really am not fond of. I had a hamburger which was overdone as usual. We try to avoid Courtyard food when possible.

Desperately in need of upgrades and renovations. The musty smell of the hall ways and the rooms is chokingly bad. The bathrooms have mold on curtains and walls. The parking lot is dark and not spacious. Needs more lightning for after hours. The AC units despite the dieting leaves the room freezing and then hot and then the cycle starts over again. Staff are nice but the hotel quality is sadly not up to Marriott brand standards.

We get it 3.7 for a reason but honestly this is more like a 2 star at best. We arrived and stayed with realistic Expectations trying to simply find a place to crash on a road trip. Only to quickly realize we should have kept driving. The Bed was dished out. The Ice machine was broken. The Refrigerator was broken….Water sopped up the floor all around it in a two foot radius. Finally… as we got up to still try to make the best of it we went downstairs to find there was NO FREE breakfast that had been ADVERTISED. A word to the wise … keep driving!
