Tried this place for the first time today and the food was fantastic!!! We called in 30 minutes in advance and I still had to wait another 10 minutes before it was ready so I would definitely recommend ordering ahead on Friday nights. We had the Great Greek Gyro and the Greek Salad Wrap, which I added gyro meat to. They were both fantastic, as was the feta fries on the side. I'd definitely say I'd like to come back as long as the wait time isn't as bad.
The food is fresh and delicious…always! I do not live in Ocala but I make a point to go to The Great Greek whenever I come to town! Large portions, high quality, fair prices and their eggplant dip is without question, the best I’ve ever tasted!!
Our experience started a little rocky. We were charged a la carte and luckily my sister didnt just swipe and go. Once we figured that out and that the employee was still in training without a lead cashier to oversee, the order was placed. The side salad was very generous in size and quality. The chicken and gyro were tasty and appreciated. A fairly busy place and looking around all customers were enjoying the food.
