Great little place for some great wine and a chill atmosphere. The bar food didn't disappoint and the music was on point. It is one of the older and more haunted locations with activity in Ocala. We had the resident spirit knock over the little mason jar on our table and flip the candle around inside.

Amazing wine bar with mead and beers! Always a chill atmosphere and everyone here is a delight! Haven’t been here in a while but I will always recommend the keep!

The staff are the only ones who earned any stars for this place because the rest was a bad evening for new years eve because of the owner. It was busy but the staff, and this is key as I will explain later, who work there were super friendly and nice. I appreciate their good service. There were a lot of people there for new years celebration. I had a good time. The owner was there this evening. I was trying to meet him or at least talk to him but he was pretty rude all night. For the short or brief moments I was able to talk to him he only had rude comments to say to me and blew me off the whole time he was there. He was controlling the music and taking requests so I wanted to request a song and he blew me off. I asked If I could order a drink and he told me to order it from someone who worked there. He said he was the owner, I figured he should probably not be standing behind the counter like he works there if he doesn't want people to order from him. Subsequently he should be nicer to patrons who go there so they will want to come back and leave good reviews.Times I have been to other bars the owners sit on the other side of the bar for this reason and also are really nice to their patrons.Other things I noticed:Clean restroomAn extended upstairs location I haven't been to yetMost of the time good music (metal genre)Unique and delicious selection of drinks

My wife and I had a great time at the keep. We had never been and decided to come in on viking night. The atmosphere was great and the staff was kind and knowledgeable. I really recommend coming here to sample the wines and have a nice and chill time.

Great experience, starting with a genuine warm welcome. Friendly helpful staff. Wine and really good pizza. Can you say awesome cheese on that wizard pizza! Then add live music.

The Keep is my goto when I need a low key place to hideout and vibe. Its small and cozy, kind of romantic; serving beer, wine and snacks (charcuterie, tapas, etc). The downstairs has a bar area, but if you walk upstairs you'll find a unique, dim lit, red carpet lounge, with intimate seating, sofas, cocktail tables and live musicians performing. The atmosphere is super laid back and the decor is artistically curious (one TV was streaming episodes of the Adams Family). The Keep is easily one of my favorite downtown locations.

My favorite place to drink wine and order a fruit and cheese board. Mark is such a great host and appreciate him and his establishment. Love Meade night too.

Great atmosphere and loved the live music. We ordered the McAllister pizza and it was way too salty. We ate it because we were hungry but we didn’t enjoy it.

My husband and I visited for an early Valentine's Day. The music is almost always great - as it was tonight. We skip dessert at dinner and enjoy a drink and dessert here. Lovely end to a lovely night. ❤️

Great atmosphere and drink selection. I really enjoy this space in downtown Ocala! The owners have really done something cool with the space and it's my favorite downtown spot.
