We were traveling through Ocala and decided to stop at Tropical Delight, and we are so glad we did! The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered the medium jerk chicken plate, and it was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. I’m already planning to get it again the next time I’m in town!
My cousin got the large oxtails plate and couldn’t stop raving about how amazing it was. Every bite was seasoned to the T! We enjoyed the food so much that we ended up going back before leaving town to pick up more meals to take home for our families.
Tropical Delight truly lives up to its name, delicious, flavorful, and worth the stop. Highly recommend!

My friend and I were passing through Ocala and decided to stop here for lunch. The food was AMAZING and the owner was so sweet. We both had the oxtail with Mac & cheese, plantains and cabbage. The place was also really clean and felt like we were eating a cooked meal at home. We will definitely be back if we’re ever in Ocala again.

My partner and I are down visiting my home town from Asheville NC. We like to try non chain restaurants when we are visiting other places and we found a gem here. I had the Jerk Chicken and my partner had the Oxtail. Both dishes were awesome and really hit the spot! Great music playing, welcoming! We we’ll be adding this place to the list of places we will definitely visit again!

Ordered for the first time & got a large brown stew chicken extra rice & peas would’ve gave 5 stars because the food tasted great but i called & asked for gravy on my rice & i got my food & it was no gravy on my rice. Also never had hala food but this was very good hopefully next time i order for delivery u guys can put gravy on my rice

This place is a Fraud Jamaican restaurant I’m Jamaican by birth and I know what my people food taste like it’s all about the money for these people they don’t care who buys it how authentic it is please guys save your money and go somewhere else don’t let the Jamaican theme they have decorated in their store fool you plus I didn’t mention I ordered Jerk Chicken and the chicken leg was big as a turkey leg that tell me they buy cheap harmone chicken to sell and make a profit the owner should be ashamed of his self try to fake my people food.

I tried the oxtail , chicken with a black beans and rice, cabbage on the side and plantains and oh boy was it delicious and full of flavor. Also got a beef patty on the side. It had a nice little kick to it. I will definitely be back.
