Wolfy's Restaurant

On Monday Jan 19th, 2026 a friend and I were in the area and looked for a local restaurant where we could eat. We saw reviews for wolfies and gave it a try. The food was okay. I had a BLT. The bacon was cooked, nice and crispy but there wasn't much taste to it. My friend had a hamburger which she liked. Our waitress was different, a little abrupt. And the restaurant itself needed some work. The floors looked in need of repair. The bathroom needed some repairs. It's not a place that I would return to.

We eat here frequently. Have never been disappointed. Fast friendly service. Good food that tastes homemadebat a affordable price. Highly recommended

Stopped by passing through Ocala. So glad we did. We wanted some down-home country type food and hit the jackpot. The food was delicious and the hostess and waitress were so sweet and friendly. Seemed like the waitress may be the owner? We had the sampler appetizer (fried okra, corn fritters, mushrooms and mozzarella sticks), plain grilled cheese and grilled cheese with bacon and tomatoes. Oh man, it was good. The sweet was very good too. We got dessert to go: homemade strawberry shortcake and apple cobbler. Haven’t eaten it yet, but boy it looks good. May have to eat some on the way home. Highly recommended!!

Beware! The place has gone downhill sharply since new ownership. Overpriced meals, filthy restrooms, and an unreasonably long wait for a simple burger and fries when the restaurant was mostly empty. (also, Wolfys responses to reviews they don’t like is juvenile and insulting) STAY AWAY

Very friendly staff and great food. This restaurant has been there since 1983. It is Southern comfort food and good portions. It is a little rundown but clean. I had the liver and onions with a side salad and corn nuggets. Hubby had the open faced roast beef with green beans and a side salad. The salad is made with iceberg lettuce not weeds as my hubby calls spring mix so he was happy. The liver and onions where tender and juicy, yum. Hubby really enjoyed his open faced roast beef.

First time eating at this establishment. Super friendly and quick. The portions were plenty and reasonably priced. Will absolutely go back again.

7 years ago I gave 5 stars. I’ve been going for years. But it’s nothing like it was . If zero stars was an option that’s what I’d give now. If you have to enter from the handicap accessible side it smells like sewage, inside as well. Food has gone down in quality it’s just not worth the stop.

Finger licking good!! Better than momma cooked it!! Highly recommend this restaurant and Erica served very well! Try out you will be glad you did!

Some peoplle will eat anything. The worst food I have ever had. The omelette was not made well: the "cook" threw the ingredients on top of a boring and hard omelette, nothing done within the egg mixture. The fruit was from a can, it was awful. Biscuit was hard and did not seem to be freshly made. Corned beef hash too salty. Terrible food. Servers: they were bored and seemed to have been there forever. No personality. Avoid this place. There is a diner near the square downtown that is great, with happy servers, fresh food, and excellent prices. Go there. Or anywhere but avoid this place.

I are there today for the first time and the food was delicious. My server was quick and very nice. She came to my table several times to make sure everything was good. The cake she makes was so delicious. Can’t wait to come back. My new favorite place to eat!!!!
