On Monday Jan 19th, 2026 a friend and I were in the area and looked for a local restaurant where we could eat. We saw reviews for wolfies and gave it a try. The food was okay. I had a BLT. The bacon was cooked, nice and crispy but there wasn't much taste to it. My friend had a hamburger which she liked. Our waitress was different, a little abrupt. Stopped by passing through Ocala. So glad we did. We wanted some down-home country type food and hit the jackpot. The food was delicious and the hostess and waitress were so sweet and friendly. Very friendly staff and great food. This restaurant has been there since 1983. It is Southern comfort food and good portions. It is a little rundown but clean. I had the liver and onions with a side salad and corn nuggets. Hubby had the open faced roast beef with green beans and a side salad.
