Zuru is one of my regular stops. The food is always fresh and yummy, and the staff is always friendly. Everything I have tried here has been great, especially the Kimchi Ramen, Spicy Ramen and Spicy Chicken Bao.

Me and my wife frequent here as we both enjoy the menu options and drink choices. The karaage, udon, shrimp tempura and the bao are phenomenal. Unfortunately, the last few times when we order ramen, the eggs are so hard-boiled they're a chalky consistency. We eat here looking forward to the eggs but we can't really do that anymore. Another thing is the chicken for the chicken ramen is often pretty bland. We're still going to frequent here, though less than before as we will look for a better ramen egg and more flavorful chicken in said ramen.

Everything but the ramen eggs are amazing. I'm not sure what happened, but ever since a few months ago, the eggs stopped being deliciously soft-boiled and are now barely marinated hard-boiled eggs. The staff are always pleasant and all their other food and drinks are great. I wish they would go back to the old eggs.

I stopped here for the first time looking for some ramen, the place was clean and had a nice layout (loved that I could move the table closer to the bench I was sitting at)

I ordered the classic tonkotsu ramen, takoyaki, and the Korean tornado potato.

I have to start by saying the Takoyaki was absolutely amazing, some of the best I've had in awhile, as far as the Tonkotsu goes it was great, and the size of the potion was really good for the price, the broth wasn't as flavorful as some other places I've been, but personally I don't always think that's a bad thing, it let all the other flavors from the mushrooms to the meat shine. Lastly the fried potato was really good too, took it with me for the road as it's easy to snack on later.

Overall it was a great dining experience, and I'm happy I stopped in.

Decent little ramen spot if you want a quick bowl! I had the black garlic ramen. It needed more salt, but otherwise tasty. I saw lots of people ordering Boba tea, so it must be really good! Ample seating, but it did fill up quickly around 6:00p.m. My server was attentive and quick! 5 stars! There was another guest talking on their speakerphone for the entire restaurant to hear, which seems to be the norm these days. 🙄 I wish more managers would kindly ask people to stop that. It ruins the ambience of the restaurant.

I am literally blown away ! The food great and the staff are sweet as can be! I picked up an order tonight and noticed how nice the cups are for the Boba tea. (the tea was awesome too haha! ) As I was turning into my neighborhood, the bag with the Ramen tipped over :(. It was completely my fault, but at the time, I didn't know the some broth leaked out because the bag was so thick. That's a good thing bc I don't want broth all over the inside of the car! When I got inside the house and took the bowls out of the bag, I noticed how nice they were. they are designed at the bottom so that you don't burn your hand when you reheat the Ramen. they are thick black bowls with a lid and a separate tray for the noodles and whatever other fixings you order that sit on top. I love the fact that everything they have done is wonderfully designed, and again, this is literally one of the best places I have had Ramen. Not many places care enough about the customer to even worry about take out containers, presentation and have great food. I can't express how appreciative I am. I will ? be returning.

This place is absolutely dog shit.

They sold me on some fruit tea. It was a couple pieces of fruit in a glass of water.

Shrimp rice bowl is exactly that. A unflavored white rice with 3 extremely small pieces if Shrimp.

Over priced for absolute slop. I should have known by the fusion sales pitch.

Avoided. Go spend your money on literal trash, it would taste better

Zuru Ramen and Boba in Ocala is a cozy spot with tasty ramen and refreshing boba drinks. The Tonkotsu Ramen stands out with its rich, flavorful broth and tender pork belly, and the food arrives hot and fresh, without much of a wait. It’s a great option for a quick and comforting meal.

The service is always friendly, and the waiters are attentive, making sure you have everything you need. For boba lovers, the Matcha Green Tea is a must-try with its perfect blend of earthy and sweet flavors. We recently tried their new Popcorn Chicken, and it was super tasty—crispy and flavorful, a perfect snack. If you're in the area and craving some Japanese comfort food, this place is definitely worth a visit.
