Food was great and Eric's service fantastic. Ambiance was basic, but I believe design enhancements are in progress. Good to have these options on this side of town!
Wonderful experience. The food is from scratch and very authentic. Ask for Yanina. She's wonderful!
Eric was fantastic and gave incredible descriptions of the menu! We loved the beef short rib, pork tenderloin and French onion soup!
It was our second time dining at Daniel Gabor's Alpine Bar & Grill and we enjoyed another fantastic meal! It was my husband's birthday dinner and we knew where to find all his German favorites. From the French onion soup to the pretzel rolls to the schnitzel, everything was delicious. The apple strudel is definitely a “can't miss”. The food and service is always wonderful! We will be back!
The meal was good overall. We were celebrating a birthday. We had the pretzel with Brie and cream cheese dip. We got 2 small pretzel sticks served with cold, hard cheese dip for $10. The pretzels were ok, but the cheese dip had a very odd flavor and did not taste like Brie or cream cheese. It was also hard to spread-no one liked it. The charcuterie was $18 and just ok. I ordered a Cabernet, and was not asked which one I preferred. They served me the $18 instead of the $10. My fault for not specifying, but in my experience they usually default to the cheaper one, and they should have asked. We ordered 3 pork schnitzels and one mushroom risotto. All were very tasty. My complaint is the jager sauce is $10 extra, which would normally be included. There is one side included with the entree. The entree portions were a good size, as was the side. Any other sides were a la carte. Overall it was ok, but not great. Probably won't return as it ended up being too pricey for us. Upscale pricing for an average meal. $170 for two people.
Excellent service from our waiter, who shared the interesting background of the chef and owner. Specialty cocktail was delicious as were the beef ribs appetizer. Pork schnitzel was tender but rather bland and the optional mushroom sauce was overpromised. The sides were delicious and overall I'd go back again and try a special to see what the chef can really do.
The onion soup was excellent. Tasted very much like French Onion soup. Veal Schnitzel was very good. The server was very attentive. The German beer selection was good, with the Hofbrau Dunkel as my favorite. Prices are reasonable. The interior decor is still a work in progress.
We had a wonderful time. Food was great. First time dining here. Definitely will be regulars. We were very pleased with dinner. Drinks were amazing. Out waiter was phenomenal. We are glad to have found this place. It is a hidden gem, right know it's more like a diamond in the rough. It's obvious they are still settling in. Don't let that stop you, this place is a must.
Dinner was OK, the dining room had just begun early stages of remodeling, which the server informed us of and that was fine, but it did impact the setting and the overall ambiance. The ribs appetizer was tough, the veal schnitzel, and pork loin were good, not great, the tiramisu was great.
Great German food and great German Beer selection, had the Oktoberfest bee and was great. Our waiter was tremendous! Seriously one of the best waiters. Explained the history of the restaurant and why it's still under construction. Had great recommendations. Had the pork schnitzel and it was delicious. Will be going back

Our second visit (group of 5)was not as outstanding as our first. Several items listed on the menu which our guests had wanted to try were unavailable. Our server was new and although pleasant did not hold up to the service on our first visit. The food was just as good as before and we will undoubtable visit again.
The food and service were excellent. The only disappointment was they didn't have iced tea for a beverage. Since it's really the only thing I drink when we go out to eat.
Best meal my wife and I have had in Orlando in a long time. Worth a visit. We will be back often!
Excellent neighborhood restaurant with a clear German influence. Food was simple, well prepared and tasty. Service was friendly and efficient.
Best German schnitzel in Orlando! Beer opt upon a perfect (love the Dunkel), and even the vegetarian options are delicious! Great prices too.
