(The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is that they're currently going through a remodel.)
Prepare yourself for some incredible German food! We started off with their cheese fondue, and it was by far the best I've ever had. My daughter and I had the veal schnitzel, while my wife had braised short rib. Served to us piping hot and absolutely delicious! Special thanks to our server (Hi Abby!) for making the entire evening an absolute delight. This place is going to be a regular stop for us.

We enjoyed our dinner and drinks very much. Great beer, tasty schnitzel, awesome cheesecake and the very best mushroom sauce that we’ve ever had!! We did not have any expectations so we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, drinks and service. We can’t wait to go back!!

Happened to be in the area and looking for a place for brunch and visited Daniel Gabor's Alpine Bar &.Grill. What a pleasant surprise all around! The food and service were great! Our group had many of the options on the menu and loved them all. Didn't even realize it was a German restaurant until our server told us the beer casher with the Bloody Mary was from the German tradition. I still have family in Germany who I visit regularly and always looking for some authentic German cooking here. We will definitely come back here for dinner!

Meh. We are huge fans of Hollerbach's in Sanford and Dunderbaks in Tampa. Tried this place while on a night out in Ocoee and it was underwhelming.
The interior looks nothing like a German restaurant, it's completely generic and looks more like a steak house. My friends got the seasonal entree and it was good, but the pork schnitzel, while it tasted fine, was overpriced at $23. The breading was falling off, and it was very thin. Also, the menu says they charge $10 extra for jaeger gravy, which is frankly insulting.
My husband wanted the veal/pork sausage, and the menu doesn't say that for $20 you get only one sausage. It's mostly potato pancakes and sauerkraut, and it was overly sour. Too many onions when paired w/ that much sauerkraut.
Overall, it was ok, but I wouldn't go back. It's not meeting the level of those prices. The service was very good, however.

Mushroom sauce on the pork was a bit too salty. The side of mushroom sauce my friend ordered was lighter in color and tasted better as it was less salty. Would have liked the fondue to be a bit runnier as it was hard to get it to stick to the bread. Otherwise the chicken schnitzel and pork tenderloin was cooked perfectly, the spatzel was great and the apple strudel was the best I’ve ever had. Service was perfect. Would be nice to have some more decor as the environment feels sparse/sterile much like the former downtown location.

If you want to experience what customer service should feel like, this is the place. The food is fantastic across the board, but the blueberry cheesecake… wow. Hands down the best we’ve ever had.

We really enjoyed going here. Our food was excellent especially as someone who has spent many summers in Switzerland and Germany. The seasonal butter with the potato sourdough was especially good. The only thing that felt off was the atmosphere itself. The restaurant is very bright and lacks the cozy feel of an alpine restaurant- ie sheepskins, decor of any kind. The playlist was also an odd mix of remixed pop songs

The food is great and service is top notch! My grandparents made traditional German food and this reminded me of my grandmother cooking. The pork tenderloin is fork tender, the schnitzel is yummy and the mushroom gravy…….. wow! The servers we pleasant and attentive. Just like Europe the will wait for you to ask for the check. I found this to be a fun authentic experience and we will be back!

Finally, a German spot on the west side of Central Florida! The food was fantastic and brought back memories of dining in Munich—truly authentic, well-executed dishes. Our server was extremely attentive, making the entire visit so enjoyable. We've already started planning our next trip back. What a wonderful addition to the area!

Excellent schnitzel, closest we've ever had to actual German schnitzel. Our waitress was very attentive and did a great job. My floral cocktail was also a perfect mix of alcohol and essence. They have a little work to do on the ambience but overall the atmosphere was enjoyable. Highly recommend 👍
