Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

Hungry Howie’s is an occasional indulgence I enjoy when in Florida. As I eat low-carb, i was excited to see the No Dough Bowls on the menu. I ordered the Meat Lovers and it was more fantastic than I expected! The sauce has a tiny kick to it that accumulates over time — not overpowering, very flavorful.

I also want to point out the 5-star service I received from David F., who was the sole worker at the location lunchtime on a Thursday. David did an outstanding job of doing one thing at a time and doing it very well, before moving on to his next task. This included keeping me informed of how soon he would be able to take my walk-in order and how quickly my order would be ready — which was much quicker than the initial expectation David set. Nice job.

There is some seating and this was a nice place to sit with my headphones and take a business conference call during my lunch.

Be aware the fountain drink machine does not work, but there is a cash vending machine for drinks and there is a Walgreens in the same shopping center where you can obtain your drink of choice.

The man child who was taking order/the cashier was extremely rude as hell, very sassy, and passive aggressive. If you don’t like your job LEAVE! I will never come back to this location.

Horrible service, horrible company. Today i come in with a $50 bill and the short spanish guy with the beard tells me no, he dont have change for a $50 bill. he said they had a sign up they dont take $50 or $100 bills however they toom it down. why would you take it down? how does that make sense. i dint believe that story. Then the manger helps me and tells me he cant five me change. My food was $13.00. They owed me $37.00. They gave me like $28.00 back when they owed me $37.00. i just took it to end the conversation. Also, i caught the spanish guy making food with no gloves on. Never coming here again

I ordered a antipasto salad substituting the ham and salami for turkey and chicken. I actually took it to work the next day for lunch and to my surprise all it had was lettuce, cheese , turkey and chicken all the veggies were missing. Called them and was basically told they wouldn't give me the salad that I paid . I'm not happy at all. I explained that I took and ate it for lunch despite not having any veggies on it.

I called and placed a pick up order. A male answered the phone later found out it was The manager ( Dave) in which was a suprise to me because of how he spoke to me on the phone. Extremely belittling, extremely rude. Spoke over me , corrected me because I didn't know what goes on the pizza or what goes on last lol. Unbelievable. I reached out to another location ( Altamonte Springs) . This location answered the phone the way it should be for an experience when placing a pick up order. Do Better Ocoee.

The boys were awesome! Fast and friendly!!! Food was amazing!!! First time customer and will be a repeat as often as possible!!!

Told me food would be done for pickup in 15 minutes, took almost 45 minutes for 2 pizzas. Customer service

I usually don't do reviews, but at this point it's necessary. I order 2 salads and a pizza, the lettuce on the salad was already turning color i had to throw them both away, then the pizza looks crappy. Called the store asked to speak to a manager waited on the phone he never came to the phone on top of that if was rude when I was at the location. This definitely needs to be addressed by the hire up.

What is up with the day manager at this place? Rude, frantic, giving multiple excuses as to why we SHOULD NOT eat there?? Came in to order a pizza and drinks, immediately told it would take long, the drink machine is broken, it’s self serve if we want to sit down, the 2 liters were hot because he just put them in there. We tried to lighten the mood with a little humor and he snapped and said he has no time for jokes!! Well sorry sir, but your energy made the interaction extremely uncomfortable. Sorry to stop by and disrupt you!! Mind you, we were the only people in the building! Needless to say we took our money elsewhere.

This is unacceptable acceptable and Horrible. The night manger Shawn needs to be fired.. shows no empathy and very rude and disgusting. This store needs New management it’s going down hill day by day.
