I ordered 4 Colombian beef empanadas and 2 Venezuelan chicken empanadas, they sent me all chicken and my friend that was going to eat the beef empanadas has chicken allergy, I called the place and the lady said that I had to take the empanadas to the place so they can change it but I'm at work until 10pm so she told me to take them tomorrow, when I asked her for another way she was so rude I ask to talk to the manager and she canceled the call. They didn't put utensils in the bag and salsa neither, and the Venezuelan empanadas are disgusting, it's not a Venezuelan empanada at all.

Great lunch; forgot to take pics but everything was good and totally authentic. Arroz con pollo, platano maduro, , arepa chocolo (not chocolate!) but sweet corn.

This was absolutely amazing! The meats were NOT over cooked, the rice was excellent (NOT mushy), the beans were flavorful and seasoned, the plantain was sweet and lightly fried not under ripe like some places, and the fried egg topped it off! I give this place 5 stars! I highly recommend this place. You will not regret it!

I only post this based on the Service and not the food. After stopping by Mi Querida I saw the the place was almost empty. Good news right? I was just planning an order 'to go' and walked up to the counter to place it. There was only one waitress so it took ten minutes of standing around before I could place an order. Big, first problem. So I place my order and tell the waitress 'I'll be seated outside for when the food is ready'. She responds 'ok great, outside'. So I go and sit at a rusty old table outside. Cut to 25 minutes later, still no food has been brought out to me. So I turn and look inside to see a 'to go' order sitting on the counter. Curious I walked inside to the waitress and said, 'is that my food?' 'Yes' she says. Having sat outside for the past half hour with no word the food was done I asked, 'how long has my food been sitting here?' She responds 'about 15 minutes.' I say 'So why wouldn't you come bring it to me outside like you said? I told you I was sitting out here. Why has my food been sitting here?' She respond by saying that's where they set to go orders and that she had to fill out other Uber orders and take care of customers. It takes 30 SECONDS to walk the food to me and tell me my order is ready. Instead she had NO PROBLEM letting me sit outside like an idiot for a half hour while my food sat getting cold inside. If you don't have the help... get more help. Because that was an obnoxiously poor excuse and a complete waste of my time. Will not be ordering there anymore. The food is pretty tasty. But the unprofessional and discourteous staff makes it a quick 'pass' for me.

We came here years ago and it was awful; the food was tasteless and bland and the decor was depressing. Came back today to give it a second shot. We were hopeful after walking in, as the place looks like it has been renovated. I sat down with my husband & three small children. No one came to the table. I took two of our three kids to the bathroom (never a quick incident) and came back to sit down. We continued to wait and again no one came. I finally went up to the counter to ask if we needed to order food there. The male server gave me a set of menus and said to sit down and he'd be there shortly to take our orders. I followed the directions, and waited some more. A gentleman walked in shortly after we got there and sat down. He was greeted promptly by a waitress and had his order taken. Meanwhile, me and my three small kids, who were starving, continued to wait. After about 20 minutes of sitting down with no greeting, no waters, we finally got up and left. Nobody noticed. We would have stayed and waited longer if somebody had bothered to at least come up to us. Seemed like one of those places that has no competition so it cares very little about the service they offer. If you're reading this review and are Colombian, please give them a run for their money. We could use a decent Latin food restaurant in the winter garden area.
Food was great everything was excellent 5 star service as well. Def going to recommend it to others.

El mesero en lugar de darme el cambio, me pregunto si el total que le había dado, estaba bien, no entendí y se llevo el total del dinero que le di y no regresó, es decir, el mismo dispuso del cambio para dárselo a él Mismo de propina. El servicio ya está incluido, por lo que la propina, fue del 28%. Exageradamente ridiculo

I was in the area of Maguire and Colonial at 11 AM and really wanted an egg breakfast at the nearest place. I searched for "Eggs" in the Yelp App and Mi Querida Colombia came up first. They serve breakfast until 12 noon. The menu is in English and Spanish. I ordered the " Colombian corn cake with cheese and scrambled eggs" breakfast meal. This meal also comes with coffee!. I ordered the coffee with milk, they do not have decaffeinated coffee. The coffee came beautifully presented with steamed milk. It was absolutely delicious coffee! The scrambled eggs were also delicious and I really liked the Colombian corn cake paired with the eggs. The corn cake was warm and looked like it had just come off the griddle, the edges were crisp and very slightly browned and there was some mild cheese on top, it was really good! There is ample parking in the parking lot and it is a very convenient location, the shopping center is right on the North West corner of Maguire and Colonial and you can enter either from Colonial (Route 50) or from Maguire Road.
