We heard great things about RusTeak and were excited to try it out. It may have been an anomaly, but the service was off and they were out of multiple things we tried to order. It took a long time to be acknowledged and seated even though it was not that busy. We started with some drinks and they could not make anything with coffee as they were out. The highlight of the evening was the flavors of the food. The pastrami sandwich was very good. But unfortunately, the side of Gruyère mash, while tasty, was lukewarm. The side salad was a unique and tasty item, but small for the price. The Nitty Gritty starter was delicious and I would get it again. The service and atmosphere were both mediocre, at best. We've eaten here quite a bit over the last few years. Their food is consistently good. Their Rusteak burger is delicious with the egg and bacon and perfectly cooked beef. While it may seem simple, their fries are great as well. Many restaurants fail to make descent fries these days. Their cauliflower casserole is also very flavorful and satisfying. And, you can never go wrong with the Salmon Keto Keto dish. They also do a great happy hour and offer friendly service.
