I can honestly say, as a NY transplant, here in NPR for over 20 years, you are not going to find anything more authentic than this place. The smell before you even walk in is intoxicating, but it's the food options, the authentic Italian pastries, deli and market items and Frank Sinatra playing in the background that really transported me. Great market. Enjoyed getting a few slices of pizza which was as good as you hoped it would be. The cookie counter is also excellent and I'm excited to check out their Deli in the future as well. All around a must do if you haven't been here yet.
