Visited 1-30-26 around 6:45 to 7 in the evening, busy but not too busy, did not wait long to sit, the queso was good as were the chips and salsas, don’t worry the hot one is not hot, the Elotes were absolutely delicious and very true to what they should be, the margarita was a solid 8/10, sweet tea was the perfect sweetness, ordered the Mole enchiladas, the corn tortilla was thick and held together well with the mole sauce, the mole was very flavorful which ended more on a sweeter...
The food at Pueblo Viejo was okay overall. I ordered the chicken fajita quesadilla, but it had very little chicken—maybe half of a piece in the entire quesadilla—and was mostly filled with onions and bell peppers. Service was slow, likely due to being short-staffed. Our waitress was extremely busy but very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, a couple near us ended up leaving because they waited so long to be helped. With better staffing and more balanced portions, this place...
