Super cute! So happy I decided to come here! The staff was very fast and friendly despite it being packed due to the grand opening. Food was 10/10 and coffee is elite I had a beef empanada that exceeded my expectations! Only down side was no ice so no ice coffee if you are looking for that.
El Coqui has the best bacon egg and cheese sandwich around hands down!! One of my favorite BEC of my life! Everything is handmade so sometimes it takes a little time, but the food is always more than worth it. Also, they have phenomenal cheesecake with unique flavors like guava. It’s so good!!
El coqui bakery is the truest Puerto Rican panadería you can find in Central FL! Their relleno de papa (stuffed potatoes) are the best I’ve had: non-greasy fresh crust and very flavorful moist chicken in the center.
When I come, I always get their pan sabao con queso y guava. The fluffy sandwich bread filled with cheese and guava, warmed and coated with a light sticky sugar on the outside. It’s dangerously delicious.
