La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

Read good reviews, so I deviated from my usual Mexican restaurants to try La Hacienda. While the food was somewhat tasty, it was not to my liking. Ordered Sangria and it was served in a large glass goblet. Being a Mexican restaurant with bar service I expected the Sangria to be made from scratch. It tasted like bottled Sangria one would buy in the grocery store and the fruit in it was definitely canned fruit cocktail. The salsa that was served with the chips was the consistency of watery marinara sauce. Even with only putting a small amount on the chips it rolled right off. My dining companion ordered the loaded nachos, but failed to read the entire description on the menu. The beef nachos were good, but they were served without melted cheese. We asked the server to bring us some cheese which we sprinkled on top. The biggest disappointment was the burrito which was supposed to be prepared with the restaurant's burrito sauce and the menu stated it was topped with cheese. It appeared to be prepared with a type of Italian marina sauce. It was heavily spiced with oregano and as soon as the platter was placed in front of me there was a heavy aroma of oregano and the flavor of the sauce had an over-kill of oregano, and, no cheese. It ruined the taste of the burrito. My dining companion ordered churros for dessert, again not reading the full description on the menu. It was nicely presented with drizzled chocolate sauce and a dollop of whipped cream on either side. However. churros with chocolate sauce is not my forte. The service was fair and our server kept disappearing. We had wait several times for our server to fulfill our requests. When we were finally able to garner his attention, we had to remind him. Overall, not a good dining experience. I will not return and in the future stick to my original go-to Mexican restaurants.

6-3-2026. I stopped for an early dinner and was able to see all that La Hacienda offers besides great food and friendly, attentive service.
I had a Guacamole Dip appetizer, and the steak Border Burrito (yes, there were leftovers!).
In addition to great atmosphere with uniquely decorated booths, there is also a room suitable for parties/larger groups, and seating for parties of 6-8.

The staff was super friendly and the food was 100/100, Saturday was my first time visiting because I was given a gift certificate and it was so worth, one of my new favorite spots.

Was not worth the drive , the time or the money. Worst service. Server never came back to check on us after she took our order. The chef kept ringing the bell like he was going crazy so annoying. 1st and last time here dont waist your time or money.

This is a very good Mexican restaurant. It is a traditional Mexican place with good food and a nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed it.

Make sure to check ur receipt if you place an order over the phone, because when you go to pick it up. None of the prices on the website is how much the items are then, when you point it out, they act confused and be like, oh no, no. The prices went up if your advertising.It has a cross on your website.You should sell it for that process.Also that you're packaging cold stuff in with the hot stuff.So all of your cold stuff is gonna be ruined

I have been going to this restaurant a lot. But today was the last day I will ever go to it again. I ordered online using the online menu take out food. I was charged a substantial amount of money for my food and didn't understand until I got home and called and asked them why the food was more expensive when I picked it up than what was on their website. Their answer was it was Cinco de Mayo and so therefore they gouged the customers by having a different menu than what's on the internet or normally what they used in the restaurant and I wound up paying approximately $30 more for the food then I should have based on their ad on their website. Very disappointing I should have been told or explained or should have been on their website that they were going to jack up the prices for today only I don't mind if they're going to increase the price as long as I'm aware of it and then I have that choice to whether I want to purchase from them or not I think it was very underhanded and i will not deal with them again.

Each time I give this place a chance, I always remember why I hate it so much and now I definitely won't be coming back at all. There is the same worker guy that is always there no matter what time I go and he constantly whistles the whole entire time. There is already music playing and can't even hear it over the annoying whistling. Can't talk to my friends and family when we getting together to eat here. Can't enjoy my food. Can't just relax and listen to the music already playing. The annoying whistling ruined my entire experience. Go home and whistle alone. Doing it around other people is so rude.

Check Take Out items before you leave.
Extremely disappointed. Ended up throwing away $20 of food.
Got the Burrito Loco, requested Meal - Beef, no cheese sauce, ranchero sauce on side and a Horchata.
Horchata was watered down.
Was given Burrito Sauce instead of Ranchero.
Burrito wasn't even warm, or wrapped snuggly and difficult to eat even with knife and fork as it fell apart while trying to cut. Was put together in a rush.
Didn't taste good, ate a third and tossed, them burped it rest of night.
