As someone who eats here, its absolutely great in every way. As someone who does pickups for delivery here, it can be horrendous. I do food delivery on the side, but it seems Sony's is a nightmare to deal with 90% of the time. An employee might say the wait is around 10 minutes and you sit in the lobby for easily 30 to 40 minutes. Rarely do i ever get there and the food is ready for pick up and it is slow moving, often seeing between 3 to 8 people waiting for their pick up as well. The delivery service is partially at fault as well, often not taking wait times into account which screws up the deliveries, because as you can imagine, they group up delivery pick ups sometimes and while you're waiting 40 minutes just for me to pick up the 2 things you ordered, imagine how the other customer and the restaurant feels that it took the driver 40 extra minutes to pick up a burger they already prepared.
Something needs to be fixed there because its screwing everyone over

Sonny's food, all of it, is just excellent, although we usually go for the all-you-can-eat chicken with two side dishes on Sundays and it is always SO good. They're not skimpy and the prices are fair. Our servers have always been awesome, attentive, very friendly and engaging and exceptionally fast and efficient. Primarily Angie and Betty. Gosh, they're just GREAT!! Their personalities are top-notch! Regarding 2stars on the atmosphere, alot of us regulars liked the way it was before the remodel. The lights above the bar are glaring... hard to watch any TV sports games because of the glare. Somehow, just not as homey as what it was. However, the food, ( accolades to the cook/cooks) the servers and service is why we keep coming back.
Actually had it delivered so the atmosphere and service is na but the food was amazing. My son is extraordinarily hard to please and barely eats anything and he loved the pulled pork and bbq sauce so much he ate all of his and mine. That makes me so happy! The brisket was amazing. Zero fat and I ate it all. I wish they had hot bbq sauce but this food was simply amazing.

This location needs work with their online pick up orders. I always select curbside no one ever comes out. I always have to walk in to get the food and it’s always just sitting there on the counter with no employees at the desk so I have to wait another 3 to 5 minutes for someone to come talk to me and give me the bag of food by this time. It’s already cooled down when I get home. Most of the time condiments requested are not included in the bag. The food is typically very good but again online orders need a lot of work.

Consistent and always our choice for bbq when craving it. Anytime someone comes to visit. This is the staple of Florida to bring them too. It one of few restaurants that we even trust to eat at as they have higher standards than most and hospitality is an A+. So you can go wrong with that

Restaurant was clean and modern. Food served quickly. We were traveling and needed to be out of the car for a bit.
Horrible, chicken sandwich was raw…absolutely gross, even more gross didn’t notice until it was half eaten which sent my grandchild into the bathroom throwing up.Do not recommend at all.

Restaurant is never willing to alter any menu items .... refuse to make a chop barbecue plate., very rude. Been to other Sonny's in Georgia and South Carolina hundreds of times and never received service like I have twice at this location won't be back
