Ben's Soft Pretzels

My family stopped in the St Augustine location hoping to try these pretzels, but unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. We stood at the counter for about 15 minutes while one employee made pretzels and three others sat in the back talking.

After waiting another five minutes, the employee making pretzels went to the back as well. We assumed he might let the others know customers were waiting, but no one returned. We waited an additional 10 minutes with no service and no acknowledgment, leaving us alone at the front of the store.

At that point, my family decided to leave. Sadly, this experience left such a bad impression that we will not be returning. In my opinion, our business was lost permanently.

These pretzels are the best! Better than the usual places you see in the mall. And cheaper! The ladies working there are very nice too.

On 10/1/2025 at 6pm.. I just got a Too Good To Go order there.. I get it, it was cheaper than usual. But wow, really? The pretzels were hard as concrete. I got those for my kids. I even showed up with my kids. How would expect kids to eat something like that.. You would think a business would be embarrassed to serve something like that. Instead, just throw those away!! Don’t serve it. Never going back!!! Literally, not even edible.. No exaggeration.

Absolutely nothing to sell or purchase. Nothing was made. Asked how long for 2 hotdog pretzels, said 15 mins. 35 mins later was told 3 more mins. Finally received my order. It was boring tasteless not buttered or salted like a pretzel is supposed to be. Nacho cheese sauce was cold. This was my worsted experience at this location. So disappointed.

one of my favorite places in saint augustine!! we stopped here three times during our short visit and tried a regular salted pretzel with cheese and another with beer cheese which was amazing, a cinnamon pretzel with vanilla frosting which was also fantastic! don’t forget to walk through to the secret garden! it was such a nice spot to relax for a minute and get off the crowded street! best pretzel we have ever had!

This was the best and biggest pretzel. It was the perfect thing for after walking through the Walmart for hours. Also the girl at the counter very nice. Located inside the Walmart in Fleming Island .

My daughter and I went to this wonderful place today. The person that assisted us was kind enough to give us their BOGO deal although we were 15 minutes early. I wasn’t even aware it was buy one get one free after 5pm. She was very accommodating and patient. I’m happy we went. We will be returning.

Listed hours show closing time at 8 pm, but they were shut down already at 7

We like to get a cup of pretzels when shopping in Walmart and the past 3 times we have tried to get some, it’s shut down do to “lack of employees” because people kept calling out. Today, the guy was so “busy” that he only had one large one made, and I’m sure being “busy” was not really the factor in anything being made.
