My husband and I had dinner here, very excited as it’s a new restaurant at the resort. The food was fine but often cold for some of the dishes. In particular, the curry appeared to be a strange texture so I moved on to something else. while my husband had a lot of the curry chicken. Unfortunately after having dinner there we both got sick. Him more than me. He experienced severe food poisoning. We had to cancel our park day of course and have yet to hear back from the resort on them remedying the situation. I would feel awful if anyone else got sick so be aware of what you are eating. Paying an arm and leg for dinner just to end up getting food poisoning is just insult to injury.

Went for breakfast and the food was fair, the service was excellent and the dining room was amazing.

Not worth it. We had a reservation and were left to wait 40 mins for a breakfast table. Front desk seemed very disorganized. Very short interaction with the characters (30 seconds each), maybe because we were seated late.

The food, decor, atmosphere, and characters were all impressive. Our waiter was absolutely horrible. We ordered alcoholic beverages as they came with the dining plan and sodas. The sodas never arrived despite us having been there for 1.5 hours and being told twice they were on the way. We asked for a cup to take my daughter’s lemonade in and that also did not arrive. When our waiter received a sub par tip, after waiting 30 minutes for our check, for his lack of service he made sure to announce the cost of our meal and the tip loud enough for our neighboring tables to hear. I was too angry to ask for a manager. I refuse to tip more than 10% for a buffet meal where our server didn’t even do their job.

Every trip we usually do a couple of the character meals. Since my youngest is still somewhat interested in meeting and getting her book signed by the many Disney characters available around the parks and resorts, we chose dinner at 1900 Parke Fare. It's located on the main floor of the Disney Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. You can travel to the Grand Floridian by either the bus, boat, or monorail. 1900 Parke Fare was just recently remodeled and reopened in April of 2024 after being closed for a couple of years.

This restaurant appears pretty upscale, a fitting place since it's located within the Grand Floridian. The theme is early 20th century. The interior is nice, and the decorations are pretty cool. There are many "paintings" hanging around of scenes from many of your favorite Disney movies.

Dinner here is a buffet of American type foods. It's a typical buffet, nothing too special except for a couple of specialties. There is a salad bar, side dish bar, meat station, and many desserts. In my mind, the standouts were the prime rib, Tiana’s Gumbo with Spicy Andouille Sausage, and the Strawberry Soup. The food is ok. It's not bad, but it doesn't make me feel like it's a place that I just have to go back there next time.

Once seated, the server really only brings you drinks. I can tell you that drinks take a very long time to make it to your table. We were on our second trip to the buffet before our drink orders arrived. These were just soft drinks too, these were not ordered from the bar.

Aladdin, Mirabel, Princess Tiana, and Cinderella are the normal characters walking around to meet everyone. I can say that within being seated thirty minutes, we had met all four. That was nice, not having to wait too long to have met, taken pictures, and receive autographs from everyone. You are given a postcard when seated to write down your wishes. Then the characters' special ceremony where they hopefully help your wishes come true.

The price for us in October of 2024 was somewhere around $44 per child and $69 per adult. It's kind of expensive for the food you are served, but you are paying for the experience.
Reservations are not required, but they are recommended if you really want to experience this dinner and the character meets. I would not risk walking up and trying to get in without one, especially if you are there during peak season.

My daughter really had a good time here meeting the characters and participating in the wish ceremony. The overall experience was good. The restaurant is very nice and the atmosphere is authentic. Service was a bit lacking, and the food was nothing special. It was something to experience once, but I do not believe this will be a part of our next trip.

Weird experience(s) here. First timers. All 4 characters were fine! Not as many options for food as I thought there would be. Did witness a 10 (?) year old take her whole hand to get the mashed potatoes off the serving spoon onto her plate. I immediately told two of the people behind the counter, but that mashed potato bowl was still there for as long as I stood there, which was a few minutes. I’m not sure when it got removed.🙁. No one was in a hurry to remove it. The tables are very close together in this restaurant and five minutes into our dining experience we had a couple with a huge “service” dog seated beside us. Would have been just fine if it was a true service dog, but I’m assuming that it was not because everybody was petting it and the owner was putting the autograph book into the dog’s mouth and having the dog go to the character and have the character sign it. I will clarify here… the owner physically could get around and was in no way immobile. The dog did not take direction well at all, and the woman that was directing the dog had to say to it many times over “take the book take the book”. It was annoying as hell. I realize Disney cannot question about the dog being a real service dog or not ….but I would’ve seated them way over in a corner somewhere by themselves. I did not pay $160 to dine with a damn dog. And I did notice that the characters were not happy to have to take the book from the slobbery animals mouth. Some people just think they only matter in this world. Sad

A great place to eat. We went for the breakfast buffet and they have a good selection whether you want something a little bit more savory or something on the lighter side. They also have a few sweet options including their strawberry soup. There are cast members playing in character going around the dining room to treat all the kids. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current respiratory hygiene guidelines. Recommended.

We recently went to the breakfast to check out the new characters and refurbishment. The decor is fresh and modern - the portraits of wishers are beautiful. The food is just as good as I remembered a few years ago - particularly the strawberry soup! The new character interactions were top notch!

It was my daughters 7th birthday and she saw and talk with, they signed her autograph book and took lots of pictures. She saw characters Maribel, Tiana, Aladdin and Cinderella very nice and patient characters. The staff was very friendly, caring and attentive especially our waitress Lisa. Food was Delicious!! Atmosphere fantastic ! They are a high end place but very down to earth. I would recommend ANYTIME! We had a GREAT experience there. We will be back! Thank you! Linda Rossi 10 -18-2024

Park Fair is superb! The new characters are so identical to the actual ones and they really have their personalities matched. It was impressive! My mom and I enjoyed them and the food was all delicious. We kept on eating. Desert was also fantastic and unique, so make sure to save room! There’s a special magical wish finale at the end of your dining experience. Family of all ages will enjoy this! This is more than a dinner, it’s a magic maker. Definitely a destination spot for the books if you love buffets and character meet and greets!

The characters, strawberry soup & prime rib are great, however everything else was very sub-par. The food is absolutely not worth the amount of money this restaurant costs. You are definitely paying for the characters in this experience. The restaurant vibe was more chaotic than I expected and with high base price, plus the 18% gratuity, it’s a crazy expensive experience.

This was my first time going as an adult with my daughter. There had been some angry rants about the new menu, characters lost, etc so I was nervous but it was awesome. Everything is so pretty, from the check-in area to the murals all over the room.

We had a really nice table on the end (half booth, half chairs) and it made it really easy for my daughter to get up and hang out with the characters. She even got to twirl with Cinderella and it was adorable. I’d recommend something like this if you can because the tables in the middle and even some of the round tables in back are kind of tight.

The characters were all great except Aladdin. He was at and gone from our table in less than 90 seconds. Didn’t really try to engage too much with our daughter. I get it’s hard to compete against princesses but at least give it a go. Cinderella and Mirabel were fantastic. So engaging.

We thought the food was great and we’re not breakfast people. Sliced salmon for bagel sandwiches, a carving station, eggs Benedict, and an incredibly good breakfast pizza. Which I think is meant for kids but I follow my own rules.

The strawberry soup is amazing. We also loved the cheesy breakfast potatoes and vegetable hash. The sauce that comes with the hash is amazing. And our daughter loved the watermelon slices haha she nibbled one Mickey waffle at least

Breakfast cocktails very good. Great staff. Just an all around lovely breakfast.

Went for the breakfast buffet. Overall, plentiful options and they are all delicious. A bit pricey but that's expected from a Disney resort restaurant. Overall, great experience, delicious food and excellent staff.
