The District Gastrobar stands out with its cozy ambiance and a curated menu that shines with gourmet burgers and their standout lobster bisque. The bisque is a luxurious affair, brimming with tender lobster pieces in a creamy broth, subtly lifted by a dash of cognac, marking it as a dish beyond compare in both flavor and sophistication. The burgers do not play second fiddle, presenting a symphony of juicy patties nestled between soft buns, complemented by crisp vegetables and a distinctive secret sauce that leaves a lasting impression. The warm atmosphere is further enhanced by the owner, Casey, whose personal engagement with guests adds a unique charm, highlighting the establishment's commitment to exceptional dining experiences.Casey's passion for culinary excellence is palpable in every dish, positioning The District Gastrobar as a culinary gem for those in pursuit of outstanding burgers and bisque. This place is not just about eating; it's about experiencing flavors that beckon you back.

I can’t think of a better date night. Going to see the circus and then stumbled upon this scratch kitchen. I’m beyond surprised and amazed. The price of these dishes amazes me. As the taste surpasses any limit I’d have. Only thing they could do to improve is open another location in Sanford or Lake Mary, so I could come more often. Love! Love! Love!

Sliders were tasty but a lot of bread not much lobster and I bit a lobster shell. Salmon and asparagus was skimpy although the sauce on top of the salmon was actually pretty good the salmon seemed a bit dry. Even after I told him I wanted it cooked medium rare. I guess I can see why the place was empty.

Did the Bite30®️ menu and had the lobster bisque, flank steak, and cheesecake. The food and service was great. I'd give 5 stars, but I would have enjoyed it more if the music was toned down a little. Couldnt hear the person 2 ft away from me without shouting.Maybe it was because it was a Friday night?

Eh I gave it 3 stars because it could have potential but no.. I got lobster rolls and it barely was any lobster on my rolls and the buns were crunchy and burnt. Their drinks are $15 and for this not to be a high class restaurant I didn’t understand why the drinks cost the same price as my meal. The fries was the only thing that was good. The cheesecake was not good. I will not be back cause I don’t feel it was worth my money they definitely have some more work to do ..

Not only does this place have amazing food, it's black owned. I actually had the pleasure of going twice while in Orlando. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was even better, the service was on point. I really enjoyed Saturday brunch and the music. Thank you showing a "tourist" a good time! Will definitely visit again!

The lobster bisque and lobster sliders were delicious. The flank steak with candied Brussels sprouts also had a nice flavor. Overall it was a wonderful dining experience.

THIS PLACE IS NOT CLOSED! They are now named The District GastroBar, and they are very much open. You already know we had to come to a black owned business for Black History Month, but this might end up being my new fave. The restaurant itself is a little small, but they make great use of the space. They played the latest R&B hits, which made me feel right at home because it's music I blast daily. I went ahead and ordered some drinks. First, I got the Church Street Mango Martini, which includes mango vodka, orange liqueur and pineapple juice. It was great, but I think the Strawberry Martini was better. It tasted like candy, but in the best way. And now I was good to go for food. Sticky Asian wings with the Lobster Mac & Cheese. The wings are fried hard and came out fresh, just the way I like it. They were also not stingy with the veggies - it comes with more carrots and celery than you usually get anywhere else. They were delicious. Now the Mac & Cheese ... was AMAZING. Definitely worth the price, this is what lobster mac is suppose to taste like. Perfect balance of cheese, cream and starch. Perfectly portioned, generous with the lobster bits. My meal was just ... PERFECT. Service was great, the staff was really cool. Chef Eddie (I hope that's how you spell his name) came out to see how I liked the food. The entire place was spotless. I can't wait to make this my go-to restaurant. Things to know: They have free street parking right in front of the building and all around the area. They occasionally offer brunch, so follow them on Instagram @thedistrictorlando for updates on their next brunch event. They have a great happy hour on Fridays from 5-8pm with a Live DJ and half off on appetizers. They might have one of the best Wine Down Wednesdays in Orlando with their $4 wine!

Was excited to try this spot out, especially since it's a prime spot before Amway events. It's definitely smaller than expected, but I guess it connects to the party on the other side. We were able to sit at the bar, not knowing you had to reserve the few tables inside. Service was slow and the bartender was so frustrated she called someone to come in. We opted for sandwiches, for a quicker turnaround. The food was ok, but I can't say I'll return. The happy hour drinks were unclear as well...to the bartenders.

Every time I come here the food is amazing. Best lobster bisque I've ever had. I also love their chargrilled oysters.

Thank you for participating in Bite30 because I wouldn't have known about this place otherwise. Its SO good!!It is a little loud (especially if you're seated near the entrance to the club next door) but that's forgivable because the food is amazing, the atmosphere is fun, and the service (shout out to Amber) is stellar. Thanks for the tour, Tim. Super impressive! You've done an amazing job.

Everything was yummy and fresh! Be patient if there is an event at the Amway that day - they get the crowds! Be sure to use the reservation option on their website. The Pesto Chicken Tacos and Charcuterie app were amazing! My husband got the 543 Burger and loved it.

Nothing special in my opinion. Food was mediocre. I got the pulled pork tacos and they were meh at best. Fries were good. Service was alright, though I didn't like it that the waitress failed to inform me that fountain drinks do not come with free refills. I had to find out when the bill came and I was charged $15 for a couple of Cokes. I also didn't love the vibe. Low lighting and expensive looking decor made me think the restaurant would be nice and upscale but it was all cheap bar food and trashy servers with their boobs hanging out. Probably would not come back tbh.

Victoria was excellent. Perfect attitude professional customer service she offered great suggestions. The mango martini was delicious a great after work drink. The chicken tacos was amazing the tortilla shell was crispy but not hard. Will come again.
