I’m from Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, and going to Los Gorditos as a little girl is one of my favorite memories. I recently had the chance to eat at 787 Mofongo, and wow—what a throwback! The carne frita tasted exactly the same as I remembered—crispy, juicy, and full of that rich, homemade flavor that brings you straight back to simpler times.
It’s rare to find a place that keeps its original taste and heart after all these years, but 787 Mofongo does it effortlessly. The food is amazing, the portions are generous, and the service makes you feel like family. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Some flavors are unforgettable—and this is definitely one of them.

I have never ever have left a review before but there is always a first and this was my first and only time here. Food was ok not good not amazing but ok. Price 👍 but you pay for what you get service was awful. I was driving down the street around 7ish spotted a food truck WITH A OPEN SIGN so I decided to stop by and just to make it short horrible service mediocre food truly disappointed this is a Puerto Rican food truck🤦🏻♂️👎

Acabo de comer de aquí, lo pedí por DD y debo decir que todo estuvo delicioso. El arroz chino siiii tenía camarones. Hace mucho no dejábamos los platos completamente vacíos. Todo llegó caliente y hasta las salsitas sabían ricas. Definitivamente volvemos a ordenar!!

Excellent place, we loved the alcapurria, the very good mofongo, the best fried meat, even the very delicious piña colada. We ordered the house passion fruit pique and it is super good. I definitely recommend it and we will be back soon!!
