left on hold for over 30 minutes. Hung up. Called back and was immediately placed in hold after the greeting 😠😥
Issues with just about every aspect of dining. This restaurant is not equipped for Korean barbecue.

Issues with reservation
- the first time I called to make a reservation I was put on hold. 5 minutes later, I hung up and called back; the same hostess picked up after one ring. “A-Aki sushi how can I help you?” When I told her I was still on hold on the other line, waiting to have my reservation taken, she was just like, “Oh, ok, what time?” No apology for clearly forgetting (or ignoring) my initial call (was still on hold).
Issues with seating
-When we arrived at 8pm on a Saturday, there was not a single other customer in the dining area. Despite this, no hostess was at the door, and instead, the bar tender noticed us waiting to be seated and fished the hostesses from the back. Two hostesses then emerged from the kitchen. I told them we had a reservation for sushi and Korean barbecue, and she asked “hibachi?” I said no, “Korean barbecue” and she legit made a face like she didn’t realize they had that option.
Issues with table settings
-She then sat us, and left without assigning us a server; this became clear when a member of the team noticed us sitting without water, menus, or table wear for several minutes and asked if we were being helped.
Issues with food quality
-OLD MEAT! Everything but the short rib had this grainy texture and slight livery taste. The sirloin steak in particular was visibly brown in the center.
-Poorly marinated, if at all. The marinated bulgogi and marinated sirloin both lacked any distinguishable flavoring, and just tasted like unseasoned meat, put on the grill.
Issues with service staff
-When we did get a server, he had a great energy, but that’s about all I can say positively.
-No silver wear, no straw, not even a napkin at the table. Us, and every table sat after us, had to specifically ask for things like water, tongs, and scissors for the meat. Utensils and straws were on a shelf that was so messy it did not look like it was for customer use.
-rice, the very first thing we ordered, was forgotten, had to be asked for again about 30 minutes into our meal.
Issues with payment
-Despite following Groupon procedure, notifying the hostess of my Groupon when I made the reservation (including providing the voucher code), the hostess who sat us said “ah yea, the Groupon.” At one point, the server stood in the center of the dining area and shouted at each table in the room. “You got the Groupon right!?” “You guys too right!?” “Alright, so everyone here’s got the Groupon! Alright.” My companion knew full well that we were using a Groupon, but that was incredibly uncouth, and made it clear to us as customers that the only people eating here on a Saturday night were doing so at a discount 😬
-Finally, when we received the bill, gratuity was included (despite being a party of two) and we were handed a check for a 20% tip with an option to increase.
To be clear, I was happy to still tip 20%, but will not be returning.
My go to for lunch or dinner … Dining in it’s really Nice too.
The service is outstanding, the food is delicious and the prices are unbelievable truly a rare find.
We went here on a Groupon.
Overall ambiance of the restaurant is very nice. It is clean and the staff are very kind and attentive.
The food is very well cooked and the chefs are talkative and will happily adjust taste to your liking.
Everything we ate was delicious and since they add noodles to your Habachi meal it is more than enough food and too much for a kid to finish. We did take the rest home.
Now the Groupon was NO real savings, because along with the cost of the Groupon the overall price of Habachi was $105.
Also please note, gratuity is always added to your bill 18% no matter what.
So if your looking for a very filling Hibachi place def give this a try, but note it is a bit pricy.
This place is still amazing love it
We've been here many times and usually had a great experience. This time was disappointing. We waited for someone to come with a menu, but we noticed we needed to scan it from the table. (I'm not a fan of this way of looking at a menu.) I ordered chicken with salad. The chicken seemed like it was frozen. There was zero taste, and it also looked like it was pressed chicken. It was terrible. The service was almost non-existent. This is so different from previous visits. I'm hoping they were just having a bad day. We're not sure if we'll be back.
Love this place!! I go for the lunch special bento, it’s literally my go to when I have a day off. The food is so good!
I've been coming here for years. Always great service. Food is amazing and prices are fair.
Not really worth the price. Service was good food ok.

We had a Groupon for Korean BBQ. Despite reservation in a dead restaurant, were seated half an hour late. Service was painstakingly slow. Side items were mediocre, meat was good but other places to
It is shocking to see that the menu at an all you can eat sushi and hibachi place didn't even have hibachi steak on it. I was informed that the steak options could be found either at the normal dining section or the Korean BBQ section which had different menus. I was looking at the online menu available since they don't have an all you can eat menu on there website, go figure. I was so stunned that a sushi and hibachi place had chicken and veggies as the only actual hibachi items. Other than the noodles or fried rice. Two items on that whole menu that had the word hibachi next to it. The Korean BBQ side I was informed had all you can eat meats such as pork belly and sirloin. So why on Earth can the chefs not just throw steak on the hibachi grill too.... especially since the sushi and hibachi menu is actually the more expensive between that and the KBBQ! So I would pay less just to hop over to that side and get the steak. The issue being I would have to cook it myself which I didn't feel like doing this night because I wasn't expecting to have to. I just feel like at this point they should take steakhouse out of the title and just say Sushi, Sashimi, and KBBQ. Paid for my sodas and left a little stunned.

Do NOT EVER buy a Groupon for this place! I called and made a reservation like stated on the Groupon. The man on the phone wanted the Groupon number which I didn't have on me at the time. He said no problem and told me to call back ONE hour before my reservation with it. I called back TWO hours before my reservation and they were said I no longer had a reservation and they gave it away! They were SO RUDE!
They have lost me fully as a customer now and I will no longer go there ever again! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PEOPLE!
