It was mostly quiet atmosphere. Our worker was very kind and helping. The food was delicious and it is a very big area so a lot of people can fit in the restaurant. There’s always a lot of food so you will never leave with an empty stomach. Very decorated.

I think this is my second time reviewing a restaurant online but I have to say I wouldn’t recommend this place, the manager seems to really disdain his customers and will go out of his way to make you fee uncomfortable and unwelcome! This was legitimately my worst restaurant experience in my life.

DONT EVER EAT HERE. THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!!! i cannot eat seafood without getting physically sick. It was a never a policy that the whole table needed to get all you can. I only wanted a chicken hibachi which i barely touched because i knew I was going to get full. Then after they upped my tip without notifying or authorizing.

Right off the bat, my first praise is value. For $16 you can get the bento box meal. This includes the delicious meat of your choice, noodles or rice, crab rations (which were much better than standard), and California rolls. As well as an appetizer soup. For this piece, I was very happy and pleasantly surprised.
That being said, I should note the quality of food in some regards. The teriyaki chicken was delicious and flavorful. The noodles were less so alas, good texture, lacking flavor. The crab ragoon may have been the freshest one I’ve ever had 🏆. And then there was the California rolls… love the value, tho they kinda just tasted like plastic with a hint of flavor.
That being said, overall I was happy.

Worst restaurant experience I’ve had. Auto charged 18% gratuity because our group ordered 90$ worth of all you can eat. This auto charge wasn’t written on the menu or told to us. We all paid separately so no purchase was over 90$. When we told the staff they were dismissive and didn’t give an alternative. Service was also poor, we waited 40 mins for 3 serving of ice cream and our server was seen smoking/vaping in the back. Just go to Panda Express next time.

It’s a nice restaurant at Avalon park, a very nice plaza as well for walking around. Very easy to call and make a reservation on a Tuesday afternoon. Average price for Korean bbq at around $30-35 a person for all you can eat. Though there is a nice lunch special right now. There is a gratuity added automatically as well (on top of that some $30). We ordered a couple plates of meat and some sushi. The meat was good, sushi was ok, sides were good. The staff seemed a little disorganized. Our server wasn’t the most attentive but the other staff helped. I wouldn’t go back but it was a ok experience.

Website states th6us is a Hibachi style..it isn't, looked like it use to be and the website has never been updated. Hostess was a little crass. We were seated and a server eventually came to give us water...as server who wasn't that great as we were consistently asking other servers for things

I went for the korean bbq all you can eat. The food was good. It's not the best that I have had, but the flavor was good on the bulgogi. The sushi selction and sides were okay. I would definitely go again if someone were to suggest the place, but it would not be my personal first option.

Restaurantji Recommends
Called a week prior to make a reservation and was put on hold for 10 min. Got to the restaurant and was told there wasn’t a reservation. Waited 10 min to be seated. The restaurant was dirty and the staff was lazy. The only good part was the server who was very attentive even though he was the only waiter in the whole place. The bathroom was gross and hadn’t been tended to for what seemed like all day. Skip this place.

Arrived for our reservation, was told table wasn’t cleaned and to wait 3-5 minutes, which is fine. 3 other parties came in and the host said the exact same thing about the 3-5 minutes and cleaning. Then a server comes and yells out who was next? The host stays quiet for some reason, us and another party raised our hand and that’s when the host spoke up and said we were first and here for the BBQ. Server was very knowledgeable about his job but service lacked extremely. Ordered beer and appetizers before the entree, the appetizers didn’t come till about 10 minutes after the entree, beer didn’t come until last few of bites of the dinner despite asking 3 times for it after ordering ( they didn’t charge me for it, thankfully). Even with the Groupon this was not worth it, won’t ever be back.

We ate at A-Aki sushi & steakhouse the food was good but the service was very slow. We had to get up to ask for the server twice. We were a party of 4 people and a 20 % gratuity was added on the receipt. I do think is right for them to add the tip. I will probably not come back again. Service needs improvement!!
