Acropolis Greek Taverna - Orlando

I was surprised to receive coffee in a plastic cup.

Phenomenal experience at Acropolis Greek Taverna today! The food was absolutely divine—the grilled octopus was cooked to perfection, and the spreads were so fresh and authentic. The Acropolis Seafood entree was also delicious and truly unforgettable. The atmosphere captures the vibrant energy of Tarpon Springs. A huge thank you to our waiter, Christos, who was incredibly attentive and made our meal even more special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-tier Greek cuisine and excellent service.

Acropolis Greek Taverna never disappoints. I ordered the Strawberry Fields Salad with blackened shrimp, and it was absolutely incredible. The freshness of the greens, the sweetness of the strawberries, and that perfectly seasoned, beautifully blackened shrimp came together like a dream. Every bite was bright, flavorful, and so well-balanced.

The atmosphere is lively, the service is warm, and the food feels crafted with real care. If you’re looking for a delicious, memorable Greek-inspired meal, this spot is a must. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Service by Dante was awesome. The ambience was perfect. My chicken kebabs, the hummus, and the Greek salad were all delicious. The steak kebabs were tasty but overcooked.
We will definitely be back to try more.

We shared a Shrimp tino app, which was very good, We had the Acropolis Seafood (on Devin's recommendation had it with rice) and Pasta Santorini (excellent) and finished with Dubai chocolate cake ( scrumptious). Service was very good, prices reasonable - recommended!!

Absolutely perfect chicken tenders

I was very disappointed with my experience at Acropolis.

When arriving, it wasn’t too busy and my friends and I wanted to grab a quick bite. We were indeed wrong. The wait for food took about an hour and by the time it got to the table it was lukewarm to cold. My burger was quite dry. The soup was bland but had a decent amount of protein. The wait and price was not worth what we received.

I came in for a quick bite and sat at the bar. The menu was a wonderful traditional Greek menu and had me planning my next visit after one bite of my appetizer.

Cool vibe in downtown orlando. I got lucky with parking but you can park in the garage. Food was delicious. Soild dips, baba ganoush the star for me, feta onefor my husband. I would go back just to have drinks and dips. Pita was ok, boring but good. Steak kabobs were over cooked but were still soft. Pasta dish with all the seafood was delicious. Service was.. well not bad butttt... let's just say absent minded. It's cool though, we still enjoy our time. My bad for trusting the prices on the drink menu thinking they are the actual cost, it was a surprise when I got my bill. Make reservations.

Before I start, I’m not writing a review for an incentive. But I love that they offered $5 off on my next UberEats order (I didn’t know how to submit it on UberEats)♥️, great marketing because i definitely will be ordering again!

I placed an order via UberEats for the Mediterranean Bowl with Chicken. I ordered Greek Dressing and Toum as my side sauces. Here are some Before and After photos… IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! The chicken was seasoned perfectly, the toum sauce, I wish I ordered more of it. It was perfect. I cleaned the entire plate and now I’m full. This was my first time trying, and now I definitely want to come visit in person. My only thing, and it’s nothing major.. I wish I had more chicken and some pita bread to go with it. Other than that, it’s authentic and probably one of the best Greek restaurants I’ve had In Orlando so far! Can I order the Toum sauce by the bottle by chance? So good!!! 11/10 highly recommended!!

The service was amazing so I feel really bad about saying this but the food here had an effect on my stomach that can only be described as sinister. I don’t think it was food poisoning, but something in it made me feel nauseous and uncomfortable for hours afterward. I thought maybe it was something I had eaten before the restaurant, but when I ate my leftovers the next day that same feeling came back. Also, I do not recommend the dolmades. They are not good.
