It was a fantastic sunny day. It was complemented with a great and delicious food. The name of this Peruvian restaurant sounds enigmatic and curious…. I’ve never seen before a restaurant next to a gas station like this one. This restaurant is clean, spacious and full of light because it has a big windows, I liked it!! We ordered a “Chirimoya juice and Chicha morada” this traditional beverage was authentic and delicious. We have a special Chaufa rice but the name was M.C.O. And a soup with shrimps, little potatoes, rice with fried egg on top, its name was “Chupe”. All food was very delicious. Although we have to wait for our food 20 minutes, in the end it was worth the wait. Everything was great!

The inside of the restaurant looks phenomenal! I really loved the whole chicken dish, the salad was ok, but the fries that came with the chicken was super fresh and delicious! The classic ceviche was meh. The fish was super chewy for me and for how much it costs, it was very overpriced. The mint lemonade was absolutely delicious!!! And the Yuka appetizer was also very good!

The only and main con was that our server took our orders. Then later on comes back to ask my husband what he ordered, which was the spaghetti with skirt steak. All our food comes and except his… we try to get out server’s attention but he like avoids our table… so my husband goes up to as about his dish… we are waiting.. then we call over another server and ask about his dish and she says yes we know your order… we wait.. eventually it never arrives. Instead of the server coming back to apologize for forgetting our one dish, my husband had to go up to them to tell them to take the dish off because we will not wait anymore.

An apology would have been nice or at least the server coming by instead of us having to constantly wave down for someone to come to our table… we even have to constantly wave for someone to come to our table to bring our check… and it was not busy, there were some tables but nothing too crazy.

Unfortunately we will not be back. The service left us extremely upset. My husband is a very patient human but seeing how frustrated he was, was very upsetting to me.

Positives: Waiter was very welcoming and friendly at first. Chicken is well seasoned and cooked well. Fries awesome. Cheese Yuca awesome. Lemonade awesome.

Negatives: Strongly recommend the Wait Staff use notepads to write orders down, or use those table devices for customers to place orders. Friendly waiter asked me to repeat my entree twice, and then ultimately forgot my meal (he got everyone else's okay tho). He did not come back to explain, apologize or even check in. What happened, bro? You good?

My family and I (party of 10) had lunch here. We absolutely loved the service and the food was mostly perfect. Only one dish could have been improved: the tacu tacu with lomo saltado. The meat was well cooked, but the seasoning was a little off - it didnt taste quite like it was supposed to. It was also too much of it, so the tacu tacu was swimming in it. Other than that, the chaufa, the jalea, the spaghetti with pesto, and the pollo a la brasa were excellent.

***DO NOT RECOMMEND***

My family visited Chabuca to celebrate Women’s International Day and a job promotion. We were excited to enjoy Peruvian food and cocktails.
Sadly, the cocktails we ordered were poorly prepared, you could tell the ingredients were staled. It tasted like a bitter “Listerine”. The manager came to our table annoyed that we didn’t like the drink. Proceeded to give us a lecture about it and reprimanded us for mixing the drink. He was rude, very condescending, loud (the entire restaurant got quiet just to hear him shame us). He told us he would not be replacing the drinks or removing them from the bill. We never asked for that in the first place, we just sent the drinks back like any guest would send an item that is poorly prepared. His customer service and communication skills were just as bad as the drink he made. The experience was ruined for us as guests and for his employees, they seemed so embarrassed by his actions. We also ordered the Pollo a la brasa which was well seasoned but served cold. Overall a terrible experience. We do not recommend this place!. Do not waste your money at Chabuca.

Without a doubt the best Peruvian food I have eaten here in the city of Orlando; They put effort into the flavor of the food and the presentation of their dishes.
This Aljí location expresses its atmosphere is discreet but I understand that the Ají Chain has other restaurants that are more sophisticated.
Rafael, who assisted me, has a very good definition of what good service is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, He makes accurate suggestions and is very attentive to ensuring that your stay is pleasant. I ate a macho fish from Otro Nivel with an exquisite wheat and mandarin craft beer;
You can see that your Manager Patricia has very good attention to detail, cleanliness, taste of the dishes and cozy atmosphere at Ají express. Congratulations to your team

It is very unfortunate, have been going to this restaurants for a while; but for some type of miscommunication and misinformation I was never given my order that I had place through a phone call; they specifically said come pick it up after 20 min, showed up at the restaurant for them to tell me that my order was never placed because we had to paid first, not to mentioned they wouldn’t place the order because it was 9pm; what kind of service is THIS to your customers!?!? Very very unfortunate, because it was not only late but they wouldn’t even take the time to help
Me find a solution after they told me TO COME PICK UP MY ORDER! Won’t be coming back here.

I ordered the Rotisserie Chicken with the white beans and rice. Everything was delicious. I felt like I was eating at someone's Nona's kitchen table. Yummy!.
