American Grill - Restaurant and Bar

*Terrible experience,so expensive, and cockroach and the table.☹
We arrived at the restaurant and the hostess completely ignored us; she left us waiting for a long time. After realizing we weren’t going to be seated, we decided to sit at the bar. Service was slow, and the food took almost 30 minutes to arrive. The waitress brought us some wings and said she wouldn’t charge us for them due to the delay—but in the end, they were still included on the bill.

The worst part was that a cockroach crawled across the bar toward our food while we were eating. The waitress ran off when she saw it, but no one offered a proper apology or solution.

The food itself was nothing special—the taste was pretty average considering the high prices.
Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant.

We ate here three times. Weird thing: I’ve never had to carry my own menu to the table while being seated. Their appetizers were good. The Ruben could have been more robust. The fried fish was frozen not fresh.
I would have felt better about my choice to eat their if their servers had their hair more under control.

Food portion was really generous. I had the protein bowl recommended by our waitress. It was actually cooked and presented well and exceeded my expectations.

Ordered food to go....one order fish and chips....took over an hour. When I got to my room...missing coleslaw and tarter sauce. Not typical of this establishment. Service is amazing!!! Told staff about it tonight and they immediately reported it to the manager. They took care of me tonight...had a wonderful (as expected) meal.

Based on the presence and attentiveness of Sue and Ryan, my experience here was phenomenal.

I cannot personally review the food, as I was here to grab my wife a midnight snack, but she said her order was absolutely perfect, hot, and ready to be eaten! The smile on her face when she was eating was proof enough that it was perfect!

Back to the people who make the magic happen! Sue was ready right as I walked up, was extremely helpful, and very personable, Ryan followed up quickly to make sure everything was delivered properly and was good to go. The people make the difference here, and to see people care as much as they did, as were attentive, to me and to everybody else around, I wanted to give them a major shout out!

Took over 1 hour to deliver the wrong order and a salad with no dressing. Food is good and service is great at the bar. Delivery system is terrible.

Absolutely disgusting. Run far away from eating here. Food was overpriced and disgusting. Wings were cold and small, Caesar wrap had wilted and brown lettuce, quinoa bowl tasted like dog food. I’d be embarrassed to serve that food. And on top of that it was extremely over priced and we all ended up throwing up at some point in the night.

We were served by Carlos and Mike and I've never had better service. I never went more than 2 minutes without a drink and all I had to do was think about being hungry and Mike was there to take my order. After we saw a rocket launch on TV Carlos told me where I could go outside to see it and even followed me out to point out the direction. Honestly top notch service.

Marcus and Karrin were exceptionally attentive to all needs and recommendations were on point. Karrin is a fabulous mixologist. Cocktails were on point. Go enjoy a meal here.

Fabulous pub just outside of City Walk and universal studios. The food was great! Far better than something you would get at City place for half the cost. If you're looking for good quality food at a reasonable price I would stop here They will validate you even if you're not staying at the hotel so you can eat there and get good food before you go into universal or afterwards. Also they do a great job taking care of gluten-free

Dietary restrictions: They did a great job taking care of gluten-free. Plenty of gluten-free options on the menu. I highly recommend

Parking: They have both valet and self-parking. If you're staying at the hotel it's 30 something dollars a night. If you're eating at the restaurant they will validate for free

Compliments to the chef!!!! I have a gluten allergy and the chef came out to talk to me, not only did they have bread substitutes but I really wanted fries and the chef was kind enough to make a second fryer for my fries. I really appreciated this and had a wonderful meal. Thank you so much!
