Blech. The sushi here is not good. And even worse you have to wait 50 minutes (yes you read that right) to get it! This place is simply not designed to handle crowds before games or concerts and yet it is a stone's throw from Anyway Center.

japanese food and the setting here is quality. Service is prompt even when they are busy. It has a cool interior. Menu is similar to a restaurant in El Paso I loved.

Came in for a couple quick sushi rolls before a concert pre-pandemic and will be back to try the rest of the menu!! Highly recommend the Volcano Roll. Their dynamite is warm and delicious. Unfortunately, they do not have a full bar, which I just expected for being in downtown. :) The service was great! Waiters are hardworking

I go to this marvelous place many times as I enjoy the ambiance that is outline this restaurant. The team is highly loyal and qualified. The service is awfully fast. Also, the food they cook is magnificent. I ate there many times and I was always delighted. The payment is fair. I suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.

I’ve given this restaurant a few tries and the food and service leave a lot to be desired. Most recently, we show up on time for a reservation for 6 at 6pm that was made about 6 weeks ago and we have to wait for them to set up the table. Isn’t that the point of making a reservation? Food took a long time to arrive and the sushi was average, nothing special. A few people in our party ordered a Pinot noir that was listed on the menu as $8/glass, $30 for a bottle. When we got our receipts we were charged $15/glass. When asked about it, the waitress responded that the Pinot noir was in fact $15/glass. We showed the hostess on the way out that the menu said $8/glass and the waitress then reluctantly had to refund our checks and recharge them. Instead of apologizing for the error, she kept saying the menu was wrong. That was not our fault as patrons! It wasn’t apologizing for charging us incorrectly, instead she was adamant that she charged us the “right” price and acted like she was doing us a favor adjusting it. The whole ordeal made us late to our show at Dr Phillips even though our reservation was 2 hours before showtime. We won’t be back!

This will be my new place for everyday sushi! I love Kadence, Kabooki, and Jade Sushi & New Asian but there are times I'd like to take a break from paying hefty tabs and THIS IS THE PLACE FOR QUALITY, AFFORDABLE, DELICIOUS SUSHI/JAPANESE FOOD! If one is looking to dine here, REQUEST FOR ELVIS! He surely is a cute one and will offer great service! What was ordered: 1. Shishto Pepper (be aware of the spice) 2. Brussel Sprout (these have a caramel sweetness to them which masks the bitterness) 3. Miso Garlic Mussels (silky fat) 4. Hamachi Crudo 5. Chicken Karaage I forgot the name to the hot stone rice dish. T^T Nigiri (2 pcs per order) Madai (Strongly recommended) Octopus (Least favorite) Otoro Salmon Belly Scallop Yellowtail Belly Uni (Average grade) Sunflower Seed Sake (I forgot the Japanese name for it.) The place is earth friendly too. Drinks are served without a straw! Whoo hoo!
