DINNER REVIEW: ANTHONY’S THORNTON PARK PIZZERIA 100 N. Summerlin, Orlando For my first meal in a restaurant after moving back to Orlando, I happily chose Anthony’s Pizzeria in Thornton Park, at the heart of downtown Orlando, which means you can eat your delicious meal and then walk around Lake Eola to cancel those calories. When I first moved to Florida in the 1990s, I went downtown looking for a hole-in-the-wall video rental store called Angel Heart, which reputedly rented John Waters movies which weren’t available anywhere else. The bad news when i arrived was that Angel Heart was having a going-out-of-business sale; the good news was that I bought their John Waters VHS collection for less then ten dollars. As I walked back to my car, I saw a pizza place on the corner of Washington & Summerlin, and it soon became my go-to restaurant in Orlando. All these years later, Anthony’s has grown into a large and beautiful place—though I still like dining on the street side patio, and I still order my mushroom Stromboli even though the expansive menu offers a full range of Italian dinners and of course their outstanding pizza. This time I treated myself to a caprese salad Anthony’s has one of the best physical locations in the city—walkable to all of the major attractions downtown, yet still having a quiet neighborhood feeling and even having its own free parking lot, which is rare these days in the city beautiful. The food meets my exasperatingly snobby northern expectations of what Italian food should taste like, and the service is excellent. I recommend Anthony’s to everyone everywhere always.
I moved to Orlando 3 months ago and Anthony’s has quickly become my new go to spot for pizza. They are extremely quick, the food is delicious, and the staff is always warm and friendly. I highly recommend
What the heck Anthony’s?! We are regulars because our son loves the spaghetti and always asks for it on takeout nights. Tonight we picked up our meal, which we always order a side of broccoli. This is what we were given. 6 tiny pieces of broccoli ($1 per tiny broccoli!). It didn’t even cover the bottom of the container. I’m very disappointed- we usually share the side and this was barely enough for 1 person. Please don’t send out food like this and charge people $6 for it! Not in this economy!
Talk about a place I would visit again! From the service, to the food and atmosphere, I enjoyed it all! Started with bruschetta and continued to the delicious pizza! I’ll be back and I’m bring my family and friends with me too!

The food here was fantastic! Our family enjoyed every bit of what we ordered. From pasta to pizza every bite was satisfying and nothing was left behind. Honorable mention: Storm was our server and she was the sweetest and most attentive person which added to the whole experience. We will definitely return here whenever we're back in town.

Love this place! Came here the other day and Madi was my server. She was phenomenal, answered all my questions and was so attentive. Best server I’ve had in a while. Had the tomato burrata with crostini and it was so delicious. Will be coming back!

If you love rock'n'roll music, Italian food like a good pizza, with good quality ingredients or a delectable plate of Italian pasta served with roasted chicken (which was absolutely perfect) then you cannot miss this place which is definitely a ten for me??. There are plenty of starters and other entrees which look delicious especially with parmegiano cheese and fresh products. We tested the mozzarella sticks and it was very good . Besides, Olivia was very attentive to our requests and kept an eye on our meal which was very much appreciated. In a nutshell don't miss this place if you're in Thornton Park ❤️???? we will come back!

Their brunch is fantastic and underrated. It runs weekends from 11am-3pm. My personal favorite is the Italian French toast and the home fries that come with some of the items are soooo good. They have a great cocktail menu to accompany it. i always receive perfect service from Storm and Madi and request one of them every time I am in. Me and my family come as often as we can.

Pizza was good & we have ordered before but this time we mixed it up with pizza, lasagna & meatballs. The lasagna & the meatballs were very salty, I would not order those items again, not sure who is doing the cooking but need to reduce the salt amount!
Family friendly, love the staff!
