I was traveling in the area and looking for a new dinner experience. Well, I chose the right place! BaBbi BaBbi was amazing. The service was excellent, the dining room was clean, and most importantly, the food was delicious. Several regulars stopped by while I was there too, which says a lot about an establishment. I will visit again if I am back in the area. Highly recommend!

Really big menu with a lot of good options, but would recommend the gochujang pork belly. Entrees come with unlimited sides, including kimchi among other things. It hit the spot.

Better bibimbap than Northern Virginia! We are here for a conference and was looking for some Korean food. So glad we found this place. Based in reviews, we went with the bibimbap. It tasted better than expected! The variety of Bonchon on top and the bulgogi was a 10! Also, they gave you plenty of other Bonchon to eat and the Korean yogurt in the end as all part of your meal. Lastly, the service here was amazing. Only two people serving, but they were efficient and so friendly! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this place! Great food, great service, and great value!

Walking into this restaurant, the person working the front is always so friendly. I was given water and delicious little bites in little bowls. This might be because I ordered an entrée but it was unexpected and added to the experience. The soup was insanely savory. I took so long to finish it and the person checking in on me was so patient. I took a passion fruit tea to go and it has actual passion fruit tea. The music was great in there so if you work nearby and want to try something tasty, hearty, affordable and in a happy atmosphere, I recommend giving it a try
Vegetarian options: Soondubu soup can have vegetables to go with the tofu
Parking: Worst case park close to the Michael's side of the shopping center, and walk

Found a strand of hair in my soup. Food was underwhelming especially for the price. No homemade dessert. But the servers were nice

So good!!!
Came for some authentic bibimbap and soon dubu (tofu soup). Banchan veggies were top notch, got seconds of the bean sprouts and cucumber. Stone pot bibimbap came in piping hot with gochujang sauce mixing in perfectly with the loaded veggies and protein. Tofu soup was SO flavorful and mild was just the right spiciness for us. Kimbap came with an interesting dipping sauce that was like a sweet and spicy fish broth soy sauce. Even got some free probiotic drinks with the check.
Will definitely be a repeat customer!

Looking for an authentic Korean restaurant in the Universal area? Unfortunately, there isn’t any. There are handful of Korean restaurants in the area, but none of them may not meet your expectations if you have dined Korean food in LA or NY.
But Babbi Babbi is certainly not a disappointment. Their signature menu, hot stone bibimbop is quite excellent. I’ve never had japchae in my bibimbop, but it was surprisingly excellent pairing. I was very pleased with the quality of this entree.
SoonTofu isn’t bad either. It’s actually better than the recently opened tofu restaurant near Lotte market - I won’t name it though.
Service was excellent, and the open kitchen seems to be very sanitary. The restaurant itself does not boast its interior design but it’s very clean.
I highly recommend this restaurant to whoever craves Korean food after a long day at Universal Studios.
