Spent 54$ on a meal for 2.5 and it was cold and stale. You could tell the burger, nuggets and fires have been sitting for a while. Like not 10 mins while , they have been sitting for a prolonged period of time. MCDONALDS would be ashamed to have served this meal. Would expect more from Disney, the simplest generic meal served cold and stale.

Better than a big kahuna burger, great service; thank you.

The gluten free chicken nuggets were great. However, the number of flies was outrageous. We did find an outdoor table, but quickly abandoned it as the flies swarmed all over us and the table. We sat across the way near the Olaf meet and greet instead, which didn't have tables but had somewhat fewer flies.

Portions are on the small size, like macaroni and cheese. Good thing is that it have plenty of seating.

I had high expectations for this cookie and was really let down.
I saw this on social and immediately wanted to try it. My hope was that it would be soft and chewy cookies with cream cheese frosting in the middle...but I was wrong.
The cookies here are on the crunchier side. As an oatmeal cookie lover, I do prefer them on the softer and chewier side. And because these were sandwiched with buttercream frosting, the eating experience was a challenge. Trying to bite through this cookie was just causing a huge mess with buttercream frosting spilling out all the sides.
Having had the Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie from Trolley Car Cafe earlier in the day, my expectations were high, but this cookie truly was a let down and would rather have the whoopie pie 10x over.
If you love a crunchier oatmeal cookie and prefer a softer buttercream frosting, then this may be the cookie sandwich you should grab. I on the other hand will pass on this for my next Disney trip.

this has to be one of the most overrated diners at disney world. the lines were atrocious; we queued 20 minutes just to order and then a further 20 minutes to get our food. the tenders were cold but tasted good. the chips were warm but were underseasoned. the wookie cookie was decent and was definitely the best part of the meal.

Ridiculous. All I asked for was chicken tenders without ranch — literally don’t add one ingredient. They refused and made me buy plain tenders instead. At theme-park prices, you’d think they could manage basic customer service. If they can’t even leave ranch off chicken, the place isn’t worth your money or your time.
Trying to enjoy my sons wish trip and they can't accommodate food choices where the customer is supposed to be right but not at this place. Shame on Hollywood Studios .

Backlot Express is just okay. We were there when it was not very busy and the food took a long time and one meal was incorrect. The teriyaki chicken bowl was pretty good, but did not come out hot at all. The wookie cookie is cute, but lacking. The oatmeal cookie itself had good flavor but seemed stale. The cream in the middle was overly sweet. I would not order this again, but I was glad I tried it.
The teriyaki chicken bowl was so good. I kept thinking about it the rest of my trip. Highly recommend.

Food was pretty good. Small portions. However, the service was not it. I never write reviews, but this needs addressed. When we came in, we were immediately told to go outside and wait... no one else was outside. We asked why we had to, and the worker told us to go talk to someone else. We then were told by the other worker that we did not have to go outside, and could get in line, just as we had assumed. We finally get up to order and my friend asks if she can get her food without edamame and was immediately shut down. Then it was my turn to order, and I asked for a side. Apparently big mistake. I was told I was not allowed to get a side. I had a food voucher that said I could, so I showed the worker, Raquel R, and she immediately got upset and called her supervisor over. Her supervisor was nice and explained that I couldn't get a side, which I still don't understand, but at least she was nice to me and didn't start arguing, unlike Raquel. At least the food tasted fine.

Highly recommended. There are a lot of people in line, so it’s best to order on your phone and pick it up at the store.
