The baked goods from Bakery 1908 are delicious and well-executed! I unfortunately did not have a chance to visit the store, so I was unable to see the bakery's ambiance. My friends who did visit talked glowingly about the open and friendly environment. I did try some of Bakery 1908's buns, which I greatly enjoyed. The strawberry jam bun was HUGE! For its price, the bun is such a good deal. The bun is a gigantic, fluffy bread filled with whipped cream and strawberry jam. Biting into the bread was heavenly - each bite was bursting with bread and cream and strawberry jam. What a dream combination! The hot dog bun was also delicious. The bread wrapped around the sausage was so soft and doughy. The hot dog bun was savory and chewy. I absolutely need to come back here to try more breads and check out the physical store!

Delicious breakfast! So many different options from hopia to ham sandwich! Highly recommend you try the various rolls and buns with different fillings from pineapple to ham and cheese!

I love Bakery 1908! Everything I have tried at the location has been incredible. The only downsides are they only offer almond milk as their nondairy alternative for beverages (which personally almond milk makes me nauseous for some reason) & if you get there too close to their opening time they don't have their full selection of breads available (but the breads are still somewhat warm and super fresh earlier!!). I have yet to be disappointed by anything I have tried. My favorite bread has been the pineapple bun. Their latte beverages are delicious, but be aware they are on the sweeter side.

Overrated. The place is really cute but the prices/quality of the food (at least what i bought) are not worthy. I bought the corn/ham bun, cheese/ham bun, almond/caramel cookies, raspberry cookies and turtle cheesecake. I don’t know why i though they would be filled but it hardly had any ham or cheese on top. The cookies and cheese cake just ok. I would come back to try the teas but not the food.

So I had a rather poor experience at this bakery. I definitely will be coming back to give them a second shot because everyone speaks so highly of them. I ordered a red bean milk tea (amazing!) and the pan fried summer dumplings. My friend’s and I were seated and they got their food first. I waited about 20 minutes after they got there and I hadn’t received mine. After inquiring about it I received dumplings but it was the same type that my friends had ordered. I am vegetarian and my friends are not. So I sent them back and I got the exact same order again, and then a third time. By that point I was so frustrated of explaining to the staff that I could not eat it that I asked for a refund for the dumplings. They did offer for me to keep the dumplings for free but I explained yet again that I couldn’t eat them. I did appreciate the cheesecake that they gave me instead. Now I’m not sure what went wrong, but if they were simply out of the summer dumplings I definitely would’ve understood I just wish they would’ve told me that. At the end of the day I will come back at some point to hopefully have my thoughts changed but I’d say walk don’t run here.
