My partner and I enjoy going on Saturday afternoons. Inside is clean and has plenty of seating around the bar. The outside patio allows for you to enjoy a conversation and the sun. You can also adventure beyond the patio, if you’re comfortable with that. Mark is our favorite bartender - he’s got a great sense of humor, he’s handsome, and serves a nice cold beer! Drinks are reasonably priced as well. If you follow Barcodes on Instagram, they usually post who is behind the bar for the day/night on their story, which is nice if you find your favorite bartender!

Ive been here a couple of times and this bar is so fun. Derek (the dude in the store) is a true staple at this bar. Every time I stop by Barcodes and go to the store he’s ready to help with anything and somehow make you laugh—plus he has a way of getting you to leave with more than you planned—just call it self care 🫰. Their store has a great selection, the energy is fantastic, and Derek adds all the pizzazz. I love going to Barcodes—he really makes every visit feel like an adventure!

From the moment I walked in, I felt totally welcome and everyone there seemed to just be having a great time! I’m a lesbian and was a bit worried I’d feel unwelcome or get funny stares, but it was the total opposite! The music was amazing! Fran, the adorable bartender with the best smile, was so attentive and personable! He seemed to be super efficient with his service on what seemed like a busy night! Can’t wait to go back again! 🥳 The patio area is such a vibe, too!

Barcodes is my FAVORITE Gay Bar. Donnie and Mark are so sweet and welcoming. They made a great choice by hiring Fran as a bartender! Fran is an amazing addition to the team. Fran always has a smile for everyone, he's a great bartender and never keeps us waiting. Fran is why I go to Barcodes. As a straight woman I feel safe, welcomed and at home at Barcodes. The patio is awesome and the atmosphere overall is just outstanding.

agree with the last review, this place had the BEST staff for YEARS and then new ownership came in and replaced everyone and made regulars feel like strangers. When bartenders that was there forever ALL leave over the course of A MONTH it’s clear there’s a problem and that’s a shame

This used to be a laid back neighborhood bar until the new owners took over a few months ago. They chased out and replaced the 3 best bartenders including the one who has been voted best in Orlando several times. The only one who stayed is Mark who is slow, inattentive and looks miserable 24/7. They ruined this place and I won’t be coming back.
