Excellent Food and Service!! Highly recommended!!We have had the pleasure of hiring Barnlys Catering for our pre and post wedding events. We worked with Anand directly to create a unique menu that offered our guests a variety of Guyanese, Indian and Italian cuisines for our Mehendi and Kangan events. Anand handles everything from traditional vegetarian 7 curry up to poultry/meat/fish/seafood entrees and appetizers. Our guests was impressed to see how well prepared Anand was to manage the service for a 400 plus group for both days cocktail, dinner and dessert. We have some amazing but picky cooks in both of our families, however Anand had no issues with satisfying their palates and making them want more. We highly recommend the full service option that Anand and his team offers. His team handled the full set up, break down and clean up. They all did an amazing job. Our guests were satisfied overall and the food was plentiful and delicious. Best of all our traditional food was executed exceptionally without having our parents and immediate family members having to lift a finger. Barnlys Catering handled our entire 4 day wedding event. Their vegetarian dishes for our Henna/Mehendi night was delicious! Everyone went back for thirds. The ceremony night we had west Indian style 7 curry, it was amazing!! He even made our "sweet bag" with parsad, puri and mithai for the guests to take away. The reception night dinner was a mix of west Indian, American, and Italian food. He also made an appetizer and grazing station with samosas, lamb sausages, BBQ bites, fish cakes, pepper shrimp...the guests were having their own party in their mouths. He also made food for our after party. His chicken in the rough was the best I've ever had! The fried rice was so fresh and tasty! All his foods during the course of 4 days were exquisite. Mr. Anand knows his community well, is honest, humble, and will work to make things right. In 20 something years working with caterers, he is now my number 1 go to for everything, including small family gatherings/get togethers. Thank you, Mr. Anand for the most amaaaaaazing week ever!!!! I attended my cousins wedding last month in Orlando, Florida and Barnlys catered the food for the Hindi ceremony. It was the best vegetarian food I ever had. Everything was delicious! I strongly recommend Barnlys to cater any of your events.
