Great restaurant. Enjoy the expanded menu recently updated, but quality has slightly decreased since previous visits.

Very polite wait staff. The bar gave us a free drink too for a little longer than usual wait for our food. My wife had a blast. 10/10

The place was really cute spot, however everything was down hill after walking in, first we asked to seat inside and the girl with the blonde ponytail said okay and then said never mind there isn’t any open tables. So we were escorted outside which wasn’t the problem then we seat down and was told Erica will be right with us 10 mins go by no Erica shows up but a young gentleman with brown hair. Funny thing is a table was sat after us was also told Erica would take care of them but no Erica ever showed and they left. However, He took our orders didn’t introduce himself just asked if we were ready to order took our order and I order the chicken meal with fries and salad with a side of rice and beans. Didn’t get my fries or salad and my chicken was raw! Told the gentleman about it and he said another one was being made and will be out shortly. So we waited nothing, everyone finished eating and I’m still waiting for mine when he then proceeded to come back with everyone’s check. But no food. So I asked him about it and said oh they aren’t making it anymore! So I arrived hungry and left hungry instead of just making me another plate. Worst experience ever! Like how you tell someone food will be right out and just say never mind they didn’t make it. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Better places in 2024 to go.

Total Fail - this used to be one of my favorite places. Invited the whole family, and drinks were poor, food was ok but took an hour and we go one meal at a time over 30 minutes, and most of got the wrong sides. Never going again!

We had a reservation. No table was ready. No table settings. No music. Service was awful. Took over an hour to get our food, and all at different times. Drinks and food tasted like fake seasonings. We us to love this restaurant and took our of town family before a trip to leu gardens. Will not be going back.

I just wanna say that I don’t blame anyone specific. We just didn’t have a great experience there. There were so many flies in the restaurant we had to keep swatting them away, and that was before we even got food. We waited about 45 minutes to an hour for our food. Our server was nice and attentive, but she misled us on several occasions. First being that when we asked for good wine, she pointed us to a wine that sounded good. We tried it, and then it didn’t taste good at all. Secondly, when I asked about food, and I asked her about a couple choices on what she would prefer, she pointed me towards the octopus. She said “ it was more food than the tacos so it’s more bang for your buck”. This, however, wasn’t the case. When I got the octopus, it was one skinny tentacle, and some barely cooked veggies. This was enough food for maybe a 10 year old. Luckily we got some guac and queso with chips beforehand so I was able to fill on that somewhat. If what she said was true, I would hate to think how tiny those tacos were. That being said, the octopus was delicious. But again, just not very filling and I expressed that I would like something very filling. That octopus was $26 by the way. Our order for Two people was $130 in a restaurant that was maybe a good $50-$60 anywhere else. I don’t know if we just had a bad day there or if it’s like that all the time but either way, I don’t think we’ll eat here again.

Carnitas Meal was amazing. Outdoor seating under the canopy is great for enjoying an outside atmosphere.

Bem Bom has a unique menu of Mexican and Portuguese fusion cuisine. They also have a full bar and a very nice variety of alcoholic beverage options. Ordered the red sangria pitcher, the bang bang shrimp (VERY spicy), the Bom fries and the Beef a Portuguese Prego sandwich. I was actually a bit disappointed with the Bom fries and their lack of flavor but everything else was very flavorful and delicious. The red sangria was TOP TIER. Most sangrias are so sweet and overpowered by juice, but the wine flavor was exceptional without being too sweet. The only items preventing me from giving 5 stars is number one the location. The entrance to get in is pretty tight and there is very little parking. You can find street parking, but during peak times this can be a challenge and you better be good at parallel. This location has a fairly small and tightly packed interior, so we sat out on the patio which was much more spacious and enjoyable. Second would be the bathroom. I was pretty disappointed by the cleanliness and overall décor or lack of thought in the design. I personally think a nice bathroom can push a place from good to great.

Cute outdoor patio. Spiked lemonade was very delicious. Octopus was tasty as well. Very friendly staff.

Tried this place out on a random Saturday afternoon with a friend of mine. Gotta say not a bad place to get a bite to eat. I was intrigued by the Bom fries they had on the menu. If it's spicy... I'm going to have to try it.. right? ? For the appetizers we tried out the Bang Bang Shrimp... Bite size golden crispy shrimp bites... was quite delightful. It was a small portion, wish there were some more. We asked the waitress and she had recommended the lamb burger, which was one of their popular items on the menu. So I gave it a try, and I was able to upgrade to the bom fries.. so win win. The lamb burger was delicious. Lamb was juicy and just yum yum. I wasn't a big fan of the pretzel bun though, maybe if the burger came on a brioche bun then it would have been much better. As for the bom fries... I was quite disappointed.. it was just sprinkled Parmesan cheese with some chopped up chilies on top. Here I thought it was going to have some kind of spicy bom sauce drizzled all over the fries... But nahhh. I'll probably come back and try out their breakfast menu, as they had chicken and waffles on there ?

Bem Bom on Corrine is a small place with a relaxed atmosphere. It sports a Portuguese background but very little of the menu reflects authentic cuisine from this country. I had the fish ‘n chips. It was pretty greasy. The appetizer was excellent though and the service was kind and efficient. Parking is ample and there’s a pretty large patio section that’s enclosed but it does overlook a commercial, high-trafficked road. We may try this again because the staff is so friendly but the first visit was far from satisfying.

Burger was okay. Actually had too much feta compote. It overpowered the lamb or it could of been the apple ginger

Great little hidden gem! A group of us went for brunch and it was lovely! It was quite hot inside, not sure if they were having issues with the AC but otherwise our experience was great. I went to Portugal in April so I was very happy that Bem Bom reminded me of my time there. I got a breakfast skillet type meal (I don't remember the name) which consisted of eggs, cheese, chorico and maybe some sort of veggies. It also came with a biscuit that was so yummy! I could have eaten three biscuits! they offer unlimited mimosas for brunch so most of our table partook in that special. They brought out bottles and kept replacing the empties which was so much nicer than having to wait for refills. Definitely a nice little spot for brunch that is undiscovered!

I've been to Bem Bom on Corrine many times and always have a wonderful meal and lovely service, all in a unique and beautiful environment. The nachos are fabulous to start, then I can't help but get the spicy shrimp tacos (can never remember the name, but they are so good!) Cocktails are always cold and delicious or try the sangria, which is delicious. I've sat inside many times (it's charming and colorful, warm and inviting), but the last few times I've enjoyed sitting under their covered patio, with a fun but sheltered view of Corrine Drive - it's great for people watching. 10/10
