My party and I had a great time! The food was lovely and the staff was even kinder! We loved our server and the chef! We tried the Wagyu of the World Tasting and it was delicious and worth the price. Would definitely come back!

Our old favorite! Hard to find these days but here we were in Orlando so didn't want to skip the experience. Good as always!

Our chef, Phinom, was phenomenal! He displayed amazing skills and was very personable. He shared lots of stories with us and made sure to ask how everything tasted. We had never seen some of the tricks he did, and we've been eating hibachi for over 25 years! Super talented chef! Would love to come back and have him cook for us again. The food was great. Our server, Karen, was also wonderful and very attentive! Overall lovely experience!

Skip it. Dining experience puts you on a table with eight other diners who you may or may not get along with for the 90 minutes that you dine with them. Food quality was good with plenty of Borscht-belt, cruise ship antics. Go to a real Japanese steakhouse instead.

There were limited chefs available Waiting time on the table was extremely frustrating. Servers and the cook when he arrived were spectacular They saved the day for the service

Wow this restaurant was a 10/10. Service from start to end . The place was packed for a Sunday night but was seated within two minutes of arriving . The host was friendly informed a the server was amazing !! The cook was also super fun and made my boyfriend's bday super special . Food was a 10/10. Kevin the server explained to me in detail the differences of steak options . The lemon drop martini was life changing .

Our experience at Benihana was ok. There were a few issues that affected our visit. The meal we ordered were the specialties meals and were supposed to include green tea and ice cream; however, neither was served with the meal and we had to ask for them. When they were brought out, the green tea was lukewarm and the ice cream was already melting. While the main meal was fine, the service around the included items could have been better. For the price, we expected a bit more attention to detail.

This particular chain of Japanese steakhouses has been one of my favorites, all my life... So that's why my review of this location is somewhat mixed. It started out well with a attentive and friendly server and a very outgoing chef who did a great job. However, several things really bothered us, and under the context of a meal with tip that was nearly $300 for my wife and I, including only two drinks and one appetizer... There is much to be desired here. The overall experience was that in spite of the good parts we felt extremely rushed. We had barely sat down and had time to pull our chairs in underneath us when we were asked to order drinks and appetizers after a very long diet tribe about everything on the menu without being given, even a few minutes to look it over. That was somewhat annoying, but we made it work. Another part was when we were eating our food and the chef was still in the process of serving it and began asking about boxes... We haven't even finished our meals yet or eaten half of the food and we felt as if we were being hustled out. More than once during the meal, my wife was drinking water and her glass ran empty and she sat there for 20 minutes without a refill or even anyone asking about it. At another point, our server disappeared for a very long time and when a runner came over to give the check to the other people at a table and gave us ours as well and when we asked about a couple of Green teas, she seemed annoyed at the question and then disappeared... We never got the tea. As stated, it wasn't all bad by any means... Our server was great to begin with barring the hole not being allowed to look at the menu thing, and our chef Liam was great, very friendly and fun :-) but overall the experience seemed underwhelming as compared with the high price.

High prices for what you get, they nickel and dime you for everything, didn't put any effort into our presentation. Food was mediocre, had the navigate around their vacuum sweeper, sitting next to our table, had to ask for refill, never got, had to ask for our tea, we were rushed and definitely felt like they just wanted to turn the table, won't be back

I hate that I even have to write this but I feel like not doing so would be a disservice.
I am from Michigan visiting Orlando on vacation and staying at the bluegreen resort, which is the lot that Benihana is located on.
If you ask anyone who knows me they will confidently tell you that Benihana is my favorite restaurant and I visit locations in Michigan around once a month.
I’ve been coming to stay at Bluegreen in Orlando since I was a kid, and each time we dine at this Benihana location. To say tonight was disappointing would be a drastic understatement.
First, Benihana is now charging for side sauces. Back in the day, standard sauces that were served with entrees were the mustard and ginger sauce. Now, a side dish of mustard sauce will cost you $2 each. The problem is that this wasn’t disclosed by our server. When asked, four customers at my table including myself said yes to mustard sauce, and NONE of us knew about the charge until we received our bills. I work in the service industry and serve, That’s unacceptable.
The food was subpar. Most of it has char marks and it was WAY WAY WAY too salty. I love salt and put it on everything I eat, and even this was too much for me.
This biggest disappointment for me tonight was that at my full table, though the fans were on and functioning correctly per management, I was bombarded by the smoke from the grill for the entire hour and a half dinner service. We had a full table, and it wasn’t until about the last 15 minutes of being there that I moved to a chair that was in the middle of two grill tables.
This smoke was absolutely awful. It’s not just steam carrying the smell of the food on the grill. This was full out smoke. It was so bad, my eyes are still burning and crying an hour after returning back to my room. It hurts to even type this out. I have a headache beyond belief and it made me get sick in the bathroom at the restaurant.
I brought up these concerns to management, TWICE, and while I received a genuine apology, there was nothing done to remediate the situation or my bill. I paid $105 including tip, and nothing was comped or offered to make this situation better.
I’m extremely disappointed and would like to see at least a partial refund to make this right. I have videos showing the smoke completely wafting me.

Had a great experience at Benihana! The host team was welcoming and made us feel taken care of from the moment we walked in. Our server, Mew, was outstanding—super friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without ever feeling rushed. She explained the menu well, checked in at the perfect times, and really added to the overall experience. Huge shoutout to Chef Joseph as well—he was entertaining, engaging, and the food was cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. Overall an awesome visit and we’ll definitely be back!
