We were late for our reservation, but they quickly found us an ideal patio table (by preference) overlooking the little harbor. The food was incredible. The service was top notch and personal. I highly recommend Bice to anyone looking for a romantic evening locally. * pro tip: park in universal garages - after 6 pm is free. Head through city walk to the ferry boats and take a scenic river ride to Portofino, enjoy dinner at Bice, then explore the restricted and grab some photos together, it is beautiful there. A SOLID date night.
Given the good reviews, we were looking forward to eating here, but were disappointed. There was little to no ambiance, though the building and decor is pleasant. Our waiter was great, no problems there. The food, however, was not worth the cost. One son ordered the costoletto which was very thin, lots of breading and very greasy. My tagliata was chewy and not very flavourful. Another son opted for fettuccine with prosciutto, essentially a bowl of pasta with bland tomato sauce. I won't go on... you get the idea. Poor quality food at high prices. We had a much more delicious, cheaper lunch at Mythos in Universal Islands of Adventure today! We won't be going back to Bice.
It was a very slow evening. When we walked in there was no one there to greet us. Had to wait at least 5 minutes then someone came from the bar to seat us. There were plenty of window seats available but we were put in the middle of the restaurant. Food was good but we felt very rushed.
First off, Victor & Paul are exceptional. Some of the best, most welcoming service I've received anywhere. They made us feel like family from beginning to end. Second off, the food was nothing short of absolutely PHENOMENAL. I'm Italian myself, visit/dine in Italy, and this was some of the best pasta & sauce I've ever had. Truly knocked my socks off. A+. If you're in the area, you have to stop in here and try the cappellaccio. Wow. Can't wait to go back for more!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Seyhmus was the greatest waiter. He made recommendations that were spot on and nailed the nicest dinner for my wife and I. Also having outdoor seating on a great evening with the Italian singer in the courtyard was just so wonderful .

When I made reservations, I noted it was for my partner's birthday. I requested a note at the table to acknowledge this. When I had to send a message that evening to push the reservation back by 15 minutes, I again mentioned my partners's birthday. Unfortunately when we got there, no one wished him a happy birthday, nor was there a card there. I did tell the server later it was my partner's birthday, and he did bring out a nicely decorated dessert, which pretty much made up for it. The food was good. Loved the bread and oils.
Solid place. As an American Italian, they hit on some things.. missed a bit on others. Of course tastes and expectations of how to make some dishes vary. Solid all around though and definitely a nice ambiance if you're looking for a classy Italian restaurant. The tiramisu was very good 👍👍
We had an amazing experience here last night. We had the pleasure of having Peter as our server, who said it was his first day at BICE. You would have never known, he did a great job! Our food was great and so were our cocktails. The strawberry caprioska was so good and the muddled strawberries were so fresh. Recommend the beef carpaccio as well and the veal picata.

I was prepared for a decent, overpriced meal at a resort, and it delivered. I wanted it to be better. The risotto was good, but very salty. The salmon was dry but fine. The weird thing was that when I ordered my second dirty martini, I still had an olive in my glass...so the server brought out my second with only one olive...mentioning that I still had one in my glass...I get everything is expensive now, but I am pretty sure the $18 martini should come with all of the garnish...not mad, just odd. Overall, if you are looking for a decent meal with beautiful ambiance at this hotel, go for it.
Tiramisu was absolutely divine, so was the bruschetta. Highly recommend dining here

Food was disappointing, not what you would expect from a fine dining establishment. Huge portions but sadly lacking in flavour.
We ate on the terrace with a view of the courtyard. We also happened to catch the evening opera performance across the courtyard - amazing! Food was delicious, the wait staff was efficient and helpful. I would highly recommend dining here at least once on your trip!
As soon as we sat down we found a dead spider in our water glass. Ok, things can happen right? My husband had the ribeye for $84. It had a huge tendon through the center and was an extremely tough and terrible cut. My daughter ordered a kids pasta with just butter, they charged $19 and they my even told me it was DiCecco Pasta, which is at max $4.00 for a box and they only gave her 1/4 of a box worth. I had a pasta dish that was supposed to have shrimp and they left the shrimp out and brought it about halfway after everyone was finished with their meals. Service was great for a Carrabbas, awful for a “Nice” restaurant with Capital Grille prices. None of us were impressed at all and definitely disappointed overall. This is attached to the Portofino Hotel which is a Loews brand. Just ridiculous to charge $19 for a kids pasta as if we were eating at Cipriani’s in NYC.

Victor Z. was great, food was great. I would recommend going around 7 to 7:30pm so it syncs up with the singers if you sit on balcony towards the main lobby
Victor Z took great care of us. Made some excellent suggestions on dishes and how we should have them cooked based on discussing our preferences. Great advice on the wine with the meal and after desert, to finish off, suggested a final glass of wine to enjoy the singers on the opposite balcony which was a lovely way to end a delightful meal.
