Very unprofessional and unreliable! I understand mistakes can happen, but not a single person on the team will own up to their mistake and/or give a genuine apology for their actions. It’s been well over 3 months and no one has followed up from a report I had made regarding an incident at a family’s wedding. 100% will not recommend to anyone in the area!!!

The food was fantastic, the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and my guests were blown away by the event. I can’t thank them enough.

This catering company is highly unprofessional. The drink glasses for a wedding were dirty. The bartenders will say anything it takes to save face. There was a cockroach in a wine glass and they tried to convince us that it was “just a fruit fly with big wings” as if that’s any better? It’s an embarrassment for this to even happen. And as soon as they got confronted about it, they were unwilling to try to fix the situation and spent the entire time trying to downplay the situation by blatantly lying and blaming it on patrons being drunk. Their story changed from “there was nothing in the drink, they were just drunk” to “sorry it was a small fruit fly” to “it was actually a fruit fly with big wings.” Everyone associated with this company are liars and will not admit to anything as long as it makes them look good. To this day we have not gotten a resolution to the issue at hand.
I would recommend other newlyweds to find ANY OTHER catering company, trust me you’ll be much better off. I’m looking forward to their response to this review because it will be more downplaying of the situation and still offering no resolution to this issue.

The menu was perfectly tailored to our tastes, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the amazing food. The staff was courteous and efficient, ensuring everything ran smoothly. I recommend Big City Catering for all of your catering needs!

We ultimately did not go with Big City, but our experience at the tasting was excellent. Jaimz was our point of contact and she was so attentive and responded quickly. Even when we got busy, she consistently emailed us to check in. She answered all of our questions. She was even more personable and kind in person. At the tasting, there was not a single thing we tasted the wasn't absolutely delicious. Not only that, but the presentation of the meals were beautiful. We brought our parents to the tasting as well. We went with a different caterer due to our budget, but if you can afford this place, I would highly recommend!

Through the planning process, we were able to test several options from their menu for the cocktail hour and reception. Accommodating dietary restrictions and kid's meals was very easy, and communicating changes to them was simple. We would highly recommend them for other weddings or large events.
