Our server was absolutely wonderful and persuaded us into some of the fresh boat to table specials for the day. My boyfriend had the golden tile fish served with jasmine rice, bok choy and crispy oysters and it was one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had. It was such a unique flavor of fish and tasted exactly as described by the server. Very similar to a crab lobster. I ordered the blackened sword fish which was also boat to table. Perfectly cooked with great flavor. The sides were asparagus and mash with browned butter. I feel like browned butter can elevate any dish when paired properly. Everything was wonderful and had great flavor. Fresh seafood is hard to come by even when staying by the coast. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for great seafood options.

Had a meal at Big Fin and the service was a letdown. The food was top-notch, but everything else fell short. It took 30 minutes to get water, 45 minutes for drinks, an hour for bread, and almost two hours for our meal, despite the restaurant being empty. When we told the manager, he didn’t seem to care. Good food, but not worth the hassle.

The food was not flavorful, very bland, and needs more seasoning. The waiter seemed annoyed by us and was not very friendly even though we explained it was our first time dining there. They messed up the order for someone in my party and was NOT apologetic at all! They took forever for our food to be ready. The dessert sizes are tiny. Not a good experience and I would not go back.

This place knows seafood. They work directly with the fish mongers to get you the freshest tasting seafood. I was able to have fresh stone crab. It is my favorite. Very rarely found up north where we live. Run, don’t walk to BigFin!
